Wow, that's got to feel great to accomplish such success. You're a fine inspiration to those who are now attempting to, or want to quit.:D:D

What they said - especially DVS. If you hadn't done it, I kinda wonder if I would have been able to make the decision and taken the Chantix.

For you, figuring a pack a day @ $3.75 a pack:

LOL I don't wanna kow how much I saved because I didn't and should have saved it for real. 3+ packs a day times two years prolly would have paid for a nice vacation.

But $$ for a vacation or not, I bet your lungs and heart have noticed the difference, and that both are much more healthy than they were on 7/16/07. :rose:

congrats to you!!! i've been smoke free for 4 1/2 years now. i also used chantix (champix in my neck of the woods) cravings are rare, i love it!

Going on 4 years!

Good, good stuff KC.
;)

I still haven't quit.
But...
But!!!

I have decided to REALLY quit as of 1/1/2012.

I have a hard time making/keeping "new year" resolutions.
But, I have been trying to quit for the latter part of this year.
Even went a couple months only having 1 a week!

I can do this.
And I pretty much have to.
Been developing a condition called leukoplakia.
It's terrible. Feels like something caught in my throat all the time.

But, as suspected, (and as the internet told me) smoking cessation is the treatment and the cure.

So for the rest of the day, I will smoke freely as I choose, and then no more.
(been quitting again for the past two weeks up until a couple days ago, I can do this!)

I quit smoking the day the doctor told me I had severe emphysema! 4 years ago.
