Two new forums?

Maybe we need two new forums, exclusively for political statements: One Liberal and one Conservative.........or just one for all to battle it out.

I am as politically opinionated as many, and can be as outspoken....but Literotica implies eroticism, and I find nothing remotely erotic in any of the political discussions, even about cigars in the oval office.

I realize the intimate involvement of gay rights and politics, and would never minimize it's importance, but that is not what I come to Literotica to read. Others may choose otherwise, but let's identify the forum for us all to choose either way.

The day they add a politics forum, I'm gonna raise hell about a: Music forum, Movies forum, Religion forum,Technology, Cars, etc,.. (about 15 more)

Well, there's obviously also a "public" invlovement regarding gay rights. Unfortunately there's politics in everything today, including sexuality. Especially for us GLBT people. You might say that's the the "Lit" part of Literotica. I don't think you'll be able to separate the two (from the "erotica" part, that is). Just keep on reading and I'm sure you'll find what you're looking for in some of the other threads here. There's two sides to everything.

The General Board can be about anything, which is where most of the political talk happens, so it's fine, but yes, a good amount of political talk also happens here in the GLBT forum, but that's mainly because 50% of the issues regarding the GLBT community right now is political.

The GLBT forum is all about discussing GLBT issues. There are already plenty of threads dealing with many various topics. Ignore the ones you're not interested in, and participate in those that you are. Better yet, start your own discussions about the things you're interested in. The board is big enough for everyone.
