Break code (HTML)

I've gone through the forums, and 'how-to' articles, and understand that only a few html tags are supported.

Two Questions:

1. Is the "break" html code supported: <BR> ?
In some places, it says it can be used (and not to press the carriage return), but in some articles, it is not listed as something literotica supports.

2. As the preview mode is not always reliable, is there some sort of "test" category, where one can publish a story, just to see what it 'really' looks like?

It's not in the standard list of allowed tags. It's hit and miss whether Laurel overrides that and allows it, even when pointed out in the notes section and requested. ( More hit than miss in my experience, but not batting 1000 by any stretch )
