I was an excellent tennis player. I almost never lost. I thought I was ready for the big time. It was devastating to find out how wrong I was. Here on the pro tour, all the other players were bigger. Faster. Stronger. I was clearly out of my league. I wanted to quit. I wanted to go home.
That's when I looked up and saw my opponent standing about ten feet away from me. She didn't say anything. She just looked at me. Stared at me....
