When I was younger I thought it sucked to have a B-day on Christmas Day. But now I think that those of us with a Christmas B-day have it special ~ when our day comes everyone becomes human and civil (except at the bargain counter). But I do miss the girls of the South; when paying by check and showing my ID and having the girl exclaim, "Oh, a Christmas BABY!"

I've always believed that being born on Christmas is a rare blessing.

You usually don't have to work on your birthday

You're usually surrounded by friends & family on a festive day

But most of all, very rare has ever been the occasion that I've gotten a gift, without also giving a gift in return. It truly is more of a blessing to give than receive!
