Twitter (now X) Alternatives

I'm surprised this subject hasn't already been discussed (I did a Search and nothing came up) but, has anyone else considered an alternative to using Twitter?
A few Twitter users seem to have jumped ship, in light of recent changes, to one alternative that I am aware of has anyone out there made a similar decision to move to a different platform?
