I have never known any twins intimately. Nor have I any known any gay or lesbian twins. However, I find the erotic possibilities festinating -- not so much about twin with twin, as twin(s) with others. I have read a lot of twins novels and some non-fiction as well. Mostly, the novels involve one of two basic themes: good-twin versus bad-twin, or twins bored with existing lifestyle decide to switch places. Yawn. I am toying with the idea of writing a twin story (for Lit probably) about twin, tattoos, and secrets which can only be discerned if with both twins present. Kind of a blend of Judith Michael's "Deceptions" and the little girl in WaterWorld (map on her back, etc.).

I would be interested to hear what other writers have to say about this idea.

Since quite some time, I am thinking about something like this:

There are this twins. They are (almost) absolutely identical, be it the look and the thoughts.

For some reasons, one of the twins (twin A) is going to a disco or a bar or something like that, while the other twin (twin B) is away. A guy starts to flirt with the A-twin and since she is open minded, they end up in bed.

One or a few days later, the B-twin is in the same bar, alone. There is also this guy. He asks her, if they could repeat what they did at the last time.
Of course, she doesn't know what this guy did with her sister. But as I said, the thoughts of the twins are very similar. And since she knows that her sister enjoyed it, she gives it a try, too ....

Later she tells the guy about her twin sister ....

Another twin story could be (I think this was posted a few times before on this board, so I will just write a brief summary)
A woman flirts with a guy, and they end up at his home. They have sex and after that, the guy says he needs to go to the bathroom, to refresh himself. However, before he goes to the bathroom, he tells his brother (who lives in the same house) about this horny bitch in his bed. So now the brother walks in, fucks the woman and then he leaves for the bathroom. And then again, the first guy comes back to the woman and fucks her again. Then he goes back to the bathroom .....

I'm working on a twins piece now where the twins are separated at birth and adopted by two seprate families. They live 100 miles apart and have no knowledge of each others existence. One sister grows up rich and popular and sort of sweet. While the other grows up with the same finacial privlages and is also popular she turns out to be kind of a snob and a bit of a badgirl.
