It is one of the most notable unsolved plane crashes in commercial aviation history, and the NTSB and FBI still don't have a definitive answer for exactly what brought down TWA Flight 800.

Some people say that it was shot down by a shoulder-mounted surface to air missile in an act of terrorism. While others claim it was caused by an electrical spark in the fuel tank by worn and exposed wiring.

The case remains open even to this day.

I don't remember that one. I remember that Swiss Air flight that crashed off of Nova Scotia. That was chilling to read the details about. What an awful way to die.
