last night we watched "How I met your mother" and there was a little blub that caught my attention. at the bar one of the girls asked another girl if she wanted to find a hot guy for a 3some...then said something like "maybe we could"

for an 8pm show...well it caught my attention. guess i need to watch more TV....what other shows talk about 3somes? bi girls?

There was a Seinfeld episode in which Jerry suggests a threesome as a way to break up a relationship that he wants to get out of in order to date the girl's roommate. (George suggests it I believe.)

At any rate, Jerry becomes mortified when it turns out that the girl he is dating is, in fact, agreeable to the threesome that would include the aforementioned roommate.

The soundbite line of the episode, was something like: "I'm not an orgy guy. I'd have to get orgy friends and grow a mustache."

I think there was also a "Will and Grace" episode that set up a possible threesome only to have Grace chicken out.

In short, mention of threesomes is common, but following through seems to be taboo.

There was another episode of "HIMYM"; Barney is at a wedding reception, and one of the bridesmaids invites him up to her hotel room. Barney demurs, saying he has a date (doesn't sound like Barney, does it). The bridesmaid replies, "Fine, bring her".

As I recall, Barney's date ends up tied to the bridesmaid's bed - off camera, unfortunately.

oh and speaking of CBS, Rules of engagement, Jennifer had a hookup with a girl at college. However, on that episode they didn’t expand or explain. adam was at a lez bar and one of Jen's college gf was there....could have been so hot!
