I liked the John Wayne movie Mclintock, where in the end he paddles his wife's bottom with a coal shovel.

I am not into hurting ladies in any way or fashion, but I guess he did not know his own strength and swatted a little to hard in real life, making it a one-take-shot, and the actress having a reddened bottom for two weeks, she later admitted.

Again, I just loved the fun-way the scene played out. All through the movie she had been unreasonable, and it finally came to a climax at that point. John Wayne finally went all John Wayne on her.
