With so many television series being released as boxed sets on DVD, which ones would you like to see released? Which have been released that you enjoy or look forward to owning?

***

I'd like to see Northern Exposure released on DVD. While its a mood-based show, ona rainy day or a night of escapism... its wonderful.

There are several cartoons I wish I could get on DVD, including Herculoids, Thundarr, The Hair Bear Bunch, and many others.

The release od Sports Night would be great if it were a bit cheaper. I never watched the show except on Comedy Central so most of it would be new viewing. Its certainly not worth the purchase price to me though.

There is a horribly expensive Law and Order boxed set out now. Its hard to justify the purchase when the episodes blanket A&E.

The release of the first season of Mr. Show with Bob and David proved lackluster as teh show hasnt aged as well as I had hoped. I'd like to see The State released as a DVD set, but wont hold my breath.

Get the Sports Night one. 50 bucks is not that much; it is definitly worth it. I watched them on ABC, and now so far I have watched 12 on the DVD. I'm going in order. Last Saturday I watched eight of them with a friend. They are awesome.

Northern Exposure would be cool. Great show

I'd like to get the Wonder Years. The commentary would be interesting

Own sex and the city (all 3 seasons that are out)
have a couple of friends dvds (they released it one way before they started doing the season by season thing..more of a highlights thing)
season 1 of the simpsons
season 1 of buffy

Want season 1 of Babylon 5 and am prolly getting it for xmas since it was the only reply I had when my parents would ask what I wanted

The Hair Bear Bunch

I could make a huuuuge list of 'toons I want on DVD. Specifically, of Warner Bros. joints that I want.

As for non-animated shows, some of those Nova episodes rocked like rubber bands, but I believe most of them are alread available. In Living Color is one I'd buy if it ever became available, too.

joints. hahaha "warner bros. joints" heehehee

I want Parker Lewis Can't Lose. I think there were only three seasons of this. I watched them all back to back on USA Up all Night when I was in college and loved every minute.

I second the old cartoons......Herculoids and such. I think I want the Sid and Marty Kroft stuff too.....specifically Wonder Buggy.

What, am I here to amuse you? :)

The best part about the Hair Bear Bunch was that invistable motorcycle. I really doesn't get much better than that (unless you're wonder woman with an invistable jet, but that's different). I think Banana Splits could be fun, too. Every single episode of Fat Albert would be on all sorts of points.

I am more of an Anime buff ... but I do have Buffy (both seasons & waiting for the 3rd), Young Ones & Kindred.

Ones that I wish were out ... (on DVD)

Angel
Forever Knight
X-Men (Animated 90's series) & X-Men: Evolution

There are a couple of Live Action Kids Shows that Pre-date the Power Rangers ... I also wish were on DVD too.

Hmmmm... I thought about it and I can't honestly think of a single TV show that I'd want to buy on DVD. It's bad enough I have to pay for cable, I don't want to pay for the shows, too.

Actually, since I watch a grand total of 3 hours of tv a week these days, the money I spend on cable is wasted, too.

when I get the time I'll get Red dwarf, The Fast show, Trigger happy TV, Spaced, The League of gentlemen, Smack the pony, Drop the dead donkey, Time gentlemen please and Bagpuss.

I picked up both season 1 and 2 of The Simpsons on DVD last week... I finished season 1 and just started into disk one of season 2.

Quality disks.. I can't wait for season 3!

I'd love to have a DVD of all THE TICK episodes. I can't believe they stopped making that.

My brother is getting the Sports Night DVD for Christmas. Not that he knows. lol Another show I can't believe didn't make it.

The cartoon? YASE!
To live action? Meh.

Clerks: The Cartoon- worth the money.

The Prisoner on DVD- expensive.. Very expensive. Probably region 2 too.

go to Yahoo and type in the make and model of DVD player you own and nine times out of ten you'll get a link to a site that tells you how to hack you DVD to multi region.

A lot of DVD's can be hacked through their remote control.

I used to love that show- I'd buy that on DVD.

Also, the Herculoids, The Benny Hill Show, Magilla Gorilla, Animaniacs, Space Ghost Coast to Coast, The Brak Show...

Six Feet Under is coming out on DVD on in February. This pleases me.

I may have to get the Sports Night DVDs. Sorkin's dialog just makes me grin ear to ear.

Classics like Red Dwarf, Futurama, Simpsons, Duckman, the old Perry Mason series - stuff like that.
