Doesn't matter much. I may even be willing to do a favor for those who help. Either pm me or im me on aim (sn: dracomalus)

What sort of favor?

Oh, you scared the little newbie away! You're supposed to be all supportive and stuff before you pounce. Now nobody will get to play with it. :)

haha. nah, no one can scare me away that easily. I guess, whatever they want within reason of course. You can run it by me and let me know. I'm pretty much up for anything.

A welcome  for the little newbie from the good little witch.

I'd be happy to take a look at your story. If you'd like to send be something in a PM, I'll read it and let you know what I think. It might be helpful if you'd read a few of my stories so you know my style. We might not "fit".

I can hear the sound of fifty sets of teeth lengthening in unison!

seriously, what kinds of questions are you looking to have answered?

There are several areas of writing that you might want to worry about; the first and foremost (in this forum, at least) is writing well-- and that is the same kind of writing well that you would try for if you were interesting in murder mysteries. There are lots of threads in this forum about writing skills, mixed in with the goofiness.

There's the matter of deciding who you are writing for; women tend to expect different things from a story than men do.

And then there are the mechanics of sex, and you'll find plenty of that advice here as well.

(See, Glynndah? I can be nice!)

Yeah, I'll check it out. I'm not even sure what I was looking for. I just thought I'd ask, cause I wanted to enter the upcoming contest. And, as it'd be my first big submission, other than a few practice stories, I just wanted to see if anyone had any tips on what to focus on, or what they like seeing in a story in a sense of composition, emotion, any of that.

What about looking in the "How To" in the Writer's Resources. That's where it is, right? Jeez, I can't remember. I think you can also find them in the stories section. Anyway, there are lots of articles about writing in there written by Lit authors. I found several of them helpful myself.

lmao. Okay, def need to hurry and ditch the newbie status asap
Add a link to your story in your sig line and then post on the feedback Forum... That should get you some information rather quickly.

And welcome to the madhouse.... please keep all fingers and toes inside the ride at all times, the trolls are always hungry.....

I'd say go to the "How To" section of Lit.

Also... I'll promote my own work. ;) :D

Can You Kiss Me Like This - How to on writing different kissing scenes

My Take on Blowing with Words - How to on writing different blowjob scenes

My Take on Writing a Female Orgasm - How to on writing different female orgasms

Good luck with your story writing and welcome to the boards. :D

Listen to the experienced lady. ;)

And do not, under any circumstances - on pain of some unmentionable nastiness- submit your story until you have had it proofread.

And "proofread" does not mean by Spellcheck. At least, not only by Spellcheck.

By the way, Draco, welcome to Lit. and to the AH. The way to stop being a newbie is by being here longer and posting on the this forum. :)

Don't forget the part about leaving us lots of chocolate, too.

The good witch already welcomed you, so I thought it was time the bad witch stopped by and did the same.

Welcome to the AH.

uh... yeah. Thanks, I'll get to reading those. And, I have someone lined up to read my stories.
