Okay... First off this a relatively newly found fetish of mine (dacrophilia).

I'm sure there are several degrees and sources of influence on this but for the most part, as far as I am concerned anyways, the big "turn-on" for me is the weeping tears (sorrow) not pain (though I haven't exactly had much experience in the pain department of this so it's still a possible).

Mascara tears. Black and white photos. Window-side lighting. Upcast eyes. Pouting lips.

That, to me, is sexy as hell.

I can sympatize with the emotions of the true scene (when actually genuine, I can even appreciate staged), but damned if I can't help but find the image fascinating to an erotic degree.

I was wondering if perhaps anyone else felt the same.

I love the pix you are talking about. They are very attractive and beautiful. Maybe I'm weird but I think, that when captured just right on film, both pain and sorrow can be very beautiful. Pale face, lots of eyeliner and mascara, bright red lips, all to accentuate the photos. Hopefully I'll get them up soon. I'll post them on my thread then post a link to them over here.

Good question. Honestly I haven't had much experience with it in RL. At least not in an erotic manner. There's a definate difference, I would think, between tears shed for pleasurable reasons (erotic ones) than the kind where my wife would be shedding do to true emotional/physical pain.

Admittedly, I've always found these kind of images fascinating, but it's really been a recent development where I have found any sort of arousal from them.

It is often something which grows as you become more aware of it. I know for us I could not ask for someone who is more caring when I am ill or going through a trauma, but even so he finds the sight of my tears now brings instant arousal he finds difficult to control..it then becomes a difficulty of being empathic with a hard on and apprearing sincere...lucky I understand totally and don't think he is just becoming some heartless beast.
