Phoenix Wright was sweating bullets. He hadn't been this nervous since his first trial over seven years ago. It wasn't that he didn't have faith in his client's innocence, far from it. It was just WHO his client was that made him panic. If he lost this case, he'd be letting down someone very near and dear to him. He couldn't let that happen.

It didn't help that the particular prosecutor he was up against was going to be a hard one to beat. A prosecutor that had a history of ensuring a "guilty" verdict for the defendant. It wouldn't be the first time Phoenix faced someone like this in court

Armed with his briefcase in hand and his attorney's badge on his jacket lapel, Phoenix adjusted his tie, walked stoically into the courtroom and took his place at the defense table.

(OOC: All other characters from the "Ace Attorney" cannon are welcome. First person to post as a particular character gets the role.)
