I actually collected them, because buried in amongst the 24 volumes of exhortations to make all women slaves, there is actually about 6 volumes worth of action adventure story. <G>

I'm not into D/s, but I'll check out the Beauty trilogy. I've not been attracted to Anne Rice's works so far, because my tastes run to Science Fiction and Fantasy. Probably 1200 of the 1300+ paperbacks on the shelves behind me are of those genres. Most of the rest are historical fiction by the likes of John Jakes and Herman Wouk.
