I like mine with warmed up dressing and gravy and a bit of cranberry sauce on top. Kind of messy, but you can always eat it with a fork. Yum.

Ruby

Thick French or Italian bread
turkey
taters
stuffing
gravy poured over
Bake till bubbly

I like a little cranberry sauce on the side.

I'm simple

cold turkey
french roll
mayo
lots of pepper a dash of salt

On the side green bean casserole & cranberry sauce

bottom piece of bread
mayo
layer of sliced turkey
slice of can cranberry sauce
slice of dressing/stuffing
mayo
top piece of bread

salt and peper through out to taste

slice into finger sized strips

bowl of hot gravy on the side to dip in

mmmmmm, mmmmmm, mmmmmm

I'm glad I'm not the only one who likes cranberry sauce. It goes so well with turkey, especially the white meat.

Todd, you have to try home-made. It's so much better than the canned and really easy to make.

Package of fresh cranberries (in the produce section this time of year)
One cup water
One cup sugar

Simmer for 40 minutes and then allow to cool.

:)

home made is for the actualy live dinning experience of the fresh from the over turkey

but it doesn't slice as well as canned for sandwiches ;)

Two slices of multi-grained wheat bread, turkey, Miracle Whip. Stuffing on the side.

That sounds really good Elizabeth, sounds like a sort of casserole out of leftovers MMmmmm

:)

There are a few American 'things' that I have (in 21 years) been unable to eat:

1. Peanut Butter and Jelly sandwiches. PB yes, with Jelly NOOOOOO!

2. Chocolate Milk

3. Cranberry Sauce - especially if it comes out in the shape of the can. That's just plain wrong!

My sandwiches are simple: Bread, turkey spread (ground turkey mixed with mayo), slice of cheese, Bread.

Turkey with pickles on lightly mayo'd bread.

I just grab the jar of pickles, sweet or dill, it's my turkey sandwich lottery.

Turkey Breast

Cranberry Sauce, the jellied kind so I can slice a disk and place it on the bread (sorry Ex-Limey:eek:)

HELLMAN'S Mayo, has to be Hellman's like my ketchup has to be Heinz

Black pepper

On White or Rye bread

mmmmmmmm .......

But I had no leftovers since the dinner was at my sister's.
Oh well, there's always the frozen turkey breast I have hidden in the freezer. :D
