It seems at this point that chances of something good coming out of the Republican Party are negligible. Therefore, by default, we have to pin our hopes on the Democratic Party, which has appallingly corrupt leadership. Tulsi Gabbard seems to be almost unique in her willingness to challenge that corruption.

I'm not so sure. Sanders was a strong critic of Obama 3 years ago. Recently he has begun to sing Obama's praises, and hired some of Obama's top fundraisers. This makes me uncomfortable.
