Be aware, with sites such as these, they don't guaranty the programs there, so be carefull what you download, as always.
IE: Kaaza is listed, and WITH it is Webroot Spysweeper. Yep, if you get the first, you'd better get the second one!
Hey, do you know if there is any way to upload songs from an ipod nano and burn them to a CD. It didn't seem to let me convert them...

I not up on ipods.
Get iTunes 4.2 for Windows (Free download). Transfer all the music on the iPod to the computer. Open iTunes preferences and select the Importing tab. In "Import using" select MP3. Now select in the library all the tunes you want to convert to MP3 format. Press advanced in the iTunes bar and select convert selection to MP3. Mac rules.

I think that the problem was that it didn't give us the options of different formats in the import function. Yes, we were trying to upload to iTunes with conversion. I got the idea from PC World that it could be done. They SAID it could be, but I don't see how to do the conversion.
Or it could be the conversion function AFTER uploading that didn't work.
That's the problem with a 14 year old who knows everything - not sure how he did it. I'll do the clicking next time.
I had 6.0.1.3 Updating to 6.0.4 now.
Well, this was a hijack, but it keeps the 2 cows mooing a little while longer.
tucows is an oldie but goodie. I use download.com a lot, but you have to be careful there too. The good thing there is that the higher ranked software loads are probably safer than the little-loaded ones.
