I can't even remember specifically what year I was divorced. What would have been the wedding anniversary was fairly recently and I happened to notice it on the day but from time to time some years I don't notice till afterwards.

Somewhat like Ish, I chose near a date that would be easy to remember.
 
I was filing my copy of the divorce decree and happened to read the date. I read dates. I also remember them. This one filed itself in my head, so there you have it.


I never got dumped for forgetting birthdays or anniversaries. I still remember them both.


I also remember the days that we separated for the last time. Those both happen to be in the first week of March.


Apparently, a long cold winter is hard on what's left of a crumbling marriage.

the little cat who strayed in and adopted us was sick and needed a trip to the stray kitty doc. She has an upper respiratory infection and fever. Shots were given, which she took well; much better than the ride in the carrier. She did her ninja kitty thing, got out of the carrier, and rode home on my shoulder. I wasn't driving,so it was okay.
 
For the first time on the road you may want to think about getting kitteh a harness and leash. Let him roam in the car with the harness and snap the leash on when you stop for gas etc.

For the felines here, something outside is fascinating. At least the wildlife wandering past the door is two-legged.

Well fed and comfortable cats will spend upwards of 20 hrs. a day sleeping. One of the reasons they're not quite as destructive as dogs can be. :D
