I may have told the tale . . . if so, bear with me.


We had a little Siamese. He was a mighty hunter. We also had a big Siamese girl-cat. She raised everything that came into the house for about 15 years - cats, dogs, whatever. Anyway, I was out of town one weekend, and the little fucker got under the hood of somebody's car with a warm engine. Whoever it was chopped the little feller up when they started the car again. Mom found him in her bed. We were never sure how he managed to get back into the house.


The vet put him down when it bacame clear that a second leg needed to be taken.


He was a good boy, and that was such a shitty way to go.

Leave the carrier door open with a sweaty t-shirt of yours inside it. Sometimes it helps them feel safer if they can get into a cave that smells like their human.
 
So far, so good. Now he's going to need a LOT of yummy treats.

Oh, and the sweat shirt or something. (Good idea Endrura)
 
I was owned by cats for 28 years, I picked up a few tricks on things that keep them happy until they decide that they don't anymore.
 
Yep, these socks will do just fine.


I'm sorry, but the shirt is fine. All I did was sit in it all day, so I'm wearing it to drive again tomorrow.


He's still behind the bed. It's a bit noisy here, so I think that and being alone for the last three hours probably didn't do anything to suit him.


I should have brought treats. I'll get some tomorrow.

Outside only and if they want to eat, they have to hunt.

That state they colored in? It's name is "Wyoming". Colorado is the one right below it, the other rectangle, the one due west of Kansas.


I have a stale muffin and a large coffee from the local gas store that everyone loves. Their coffee isn't that good, really, but it's better than what I have.


We traveled lightly, knowing that there's a Walmart at our destination.


And a swamp. I'm wagering on a swamp - somewhere.

Interesting that Colorado doesn't get any pot from Colorado.

The cat. The human is only marginally decent.


I would surmise that any place where pot can be grown legally has the ability to pump a bit of it into the black market pipeline - only at a lesser percentage than what the black market growers put in.


I read the whinging thread up top this morning. (I rarely read below the fold of page one.) Interesting how the sinister side can rephrase anything and claim victory. I'd really like to see how a couple of those goofs would rewrite a man grabbing them by the collar and breaking their nose . . . .

Safe travels today Wat and Kitteh.

I shall be playing chauffeur today, guys are going to have lose some blood and have some other work done that says no driving for at least 4 hours after. It will be a hurry up and wait day for me but at least my new book arrived so I have something to look forward to and depending on how long it takes we are stopping for food on the way back.
 
Thanks, dear, I'll be sure to take that under advisement and to tell Kitteh that he has collected Kind Wishes. He likes for the humans to approve of him.


I'm thinking of hitting the road here in a little while. Being as we're west of town and headed west and south, I'm thinking there won't be too much traffic to worry about hitting.


Socks are at the gate of the carrier for a reminder of . . . teh human.


And for some reason, I seem to have been charged twice for this room. I'll sort that out later.
