Morning Wat.

Just going to do some odds and ends today. A little electrical, a little shopping, a little loafing, rinse and repeat.

Seems we're going to be treated to another week of being dragged through the mud and no matter how it turns out there's going to be a butt load of screaming and hand wringing from one group or another. Such is the nature of identity politics and identity victimization. It's all beginning to get far too close to an old Shirley Jackson short story.

I tried to have an intelligent conversation on late-date accusations and a couple of related matters with a woman I had previously considered intelligent. She demonstrated otherwise, all emoting and no thinking, to the point of misunderstanding my basic premise and all following comments.


That was as frustrating a conversation as I've had in awhile, more like "conversing" with a Lit "Deep Thinker" than an actual human.


I'm reading a bio of Richard Kuklinski and have gotten some really good ideas from it. Basically, I need a colony of fleash-eating rats . . . .
