Secondly, what are the differences between a neovagina and the vagina of a natal female? I need a full list.

well you have to live fully as a female for a year to get the surgeries done in the states and canada too i believe.

neovagina is just your penis split with the erectile tissue removed stuffed inside and then your testicle sack is used to form the labia your head is used to create the clit. i'll try to find more info for you. if i were you i'd visit the transgender thread on this site we are glad to have you and will help as much as possible!

It is possible, but like Tymeless said you have to live as female for a long time before you can get it done in the U.S. Another option is to go to Thailand, where there are some good doctors performing SRS now. It's expensive to get there but the operation is usually cheaper, so it balances out. You would have to do research first on what their requirements are, though - they may still expect you to be living as a woman before you show up.

As for neovaginas, go read this page, you will learn a LOT. The history stuff near the top is a little dry but further down the page there are pictures of how it is done today. Another site that I highly recommend is the TS Roadmap, you will learn a lot there too.

A couple of important differences: the neovagina does not lubricate in the same way as a natal vagina. Sometimes it is possible to get some lubrication from the prostate or bowel section, but most of the time TS women have to use lubrication for any kind of penetration (including using the dilator!). Also, there is one huge difference: not all TS women have orgasms. If you get SRS done, there is no guarantee you will ever have another orgasm in your life. Many women DO have them, but it's impossible to guarantee it.

One thing I do feel it's important to mention is that if you are considering having SRS and NOT living as a woman, you will almost surely be unhappy with the result. Whatever your reasons are for wanting SRS, if you are thinking of living as a male you will probably end up regretting it. I strongly caution you to seek counseling and advice and read all you can. Let me put it this way: if you have unresolved issues regarding your gender, having a vagina will not make you happy.

I have only been on Literotica for about three weeks so there is a good chance I am wrong but I think it may be this thread that is being referred to.

There are many good people here many with personal or close experience of MTF transexuality, whose advice and knowledge is golden. These you willl hopefully find helpful and supportive in your quest.

Sadly there may be one or two that react negatively, especially on the GB, I suggest you treat anyone like that with the contempt they deserve and dont let them prevent you asking questions, or expressing yourself
