What is a good, healthy, fulfilling and satisfying breakfast. It's got to be good, since it is the first meal of the day. I'd like to start the day off right. Any suggestions?

Eight oz of yougurt and six ounces of fruit both without sugar add two ounces of oatmeal and you will be full and satisfied until lunch. If you avoid bagels baked goods and toast you are better off. Eating lots of carbs that are highly refined will give you an insulin surge if you are insulin resistant. Its what people feel when they droop after lunch or break. Eating sugar although you crave it is soooo bad.

Hahaha Merelan

I keep trying to do this also. It sucks. Special K & blueberries. Oh Yea.

I'm obsessed with this 10 servings of fruits & vegetables thing. How the hell do you do that? I've had 3 bananas today & spaghetti sauce. Fallen short again, like I do everyday.

Shelby I too have tried cereal in fact......

I was actually eating a cup of raisin bran with a 1/2 cup of milk. Three egg white with one egg yolk. Then I would have yogurt with Quaker 100% Natural Cereal. (I love that cereal out of the box, but Boy is it loaded with fiber) I can do this for the short term, I'm working on the long term, so it becomes a lifestyle change. Not a short term habit. Maybe we can help each other?
Check in with the othe to see how well we are eating. What do you think?
