Just trying to reach 1,000 posts

not sure why but i do like poems so not to make this a boring thread i will make it a poem thread




just sitting alone before the screen
wondering aloud abouth the machine
is there a way to learn and grow
what was that about I want to know
so glad I have met some people here
but more glad I can forget my fear

one night in a dark room
alone I sat feeling doom
just barely a shiver in my mind
nothing mattered not even time
than i heard a small voice
telling me I had a choice
so i gave it a shot
not feeling that hot
i chose mountain dew


i think i failed the pepsi challenge

just looking for an answer sometimes
causes more trouble than not
but I will continue to search for

how they seem to vanish
mind racing thinking about sex
thinking of the joys of breasts

The Reason
when I pray to the gods of old
I wonder what to behold
do I pray for life to continue
for my world to end
or do I reach past my sorrow
and look to tomorrow
if I left today
would I be replaced
in the hearts of loved ones
in the minds of friends
I feel so alone in a crowed street
but when I think of hope
when I contemplate the future
I can't see myself in distress
all I see around me
in a world of loving embrace
the wisdom of the ages
past down from friends and loved ones
so I think I'll stick around
and see how this story ends
