I've noticed couples exploring and sharing when were down in St. Thomas/St John, and some of the resorts around Florida. One of the things we enjoy on the weekends is to boat to remote barrier islands, there clothing is not needed.

I remember that CSI, by the way. As I recall the murderer was the daughter and the murder weapon was a knife in the dishwasher? Something like that. The parents insisted that they kept their wild lifestyle quiet from the kids but the kids had found out. It had a not-quite-incest twist to it where the daughter was jealous of her mother with her lover? I think. It's been a while since I saw it.

It was, as I recall, a little moralistic, preaching against such a lifestyle. I think it was also one of the earlier seasons.

Let's hear it for the internet! As with most things, the first thing they'd likely do would be to google Ohio + Swingers (or Swingers clubs) and see what they got.

Here's one in Columbus: The Princeton Club

I'm not all that familiar with the swinger's lifestyle, but there are plenty of clubs all around the country where a couple can go and meet other swingers. Some have weekends where people can gather, swim, go horseback riding, and then there's a swingers ball in the evening, things like that.

A new couple at one of these clubs or weekend retreats doesn't need to participate; they can watch, check the lifestyle out and see if its for them. And they can make contacts with others who live in their area.

There might be clubs as well, at least I know there is one here in Pheonix, or was at least, i forgot the name of it but I do remember hearing how it has actual sex rooms with windows to let others watch, there is a large hot tub that is clothing optional and I think they even have some dungeon rooms for the BDSM inclined.

Of course everything is enclosed within the walls, it's in Pheonix so anything less would get closed down. Assuming it is actually open still of course. It's weird here, there are something like 300 gentleman's clubs, all with VIP rooms and private rooms, but this swinger club draws alot of police interest.

Seriously, your question is how would a couple from Bible Belt Ohio fall into the swing scene down in the Carib Sun. I would think quite easily if they are a free and open couple to begin with. Just because the come from the Corn Belt doesn't make them any different than anyone else.

Well, it could make them different in that they either (1) never considered such a thing or (2) imagine that they're really weird and no one else would ever consider such a thing.

They'd have to be rather sheltered, but it's possible that they could be completely unaware that other swingers are out there and available.

personally, i hate the word swinger...not sure why.

now, we have friends that are all over the map. from no way, teasing, to full on couples. many of our get togethers end up in the pool or hot tub, and well, guys being guys work on getting the girls topless. i have a couple of gf that love to share shots, i.e. she takes the bottle, and then kisses a friend with the shot. drives the guys wild.

ohio might be a bad example, but i'm sure that poeple all over the place like to spice things up. so when one is 40ish, the kids are away at college, and one is looking to spice things up (and not with a harliquen book), why not share - if your marriage is strong?

one question is, most men are unable to 'preform' again, or need some time to recover. granted, i'm speaking in general terms.... i'm almost thinking that for a true swinger party, that they might need some extra guys around. okay, some of the women can use strap on's, but from personal experience i have some gf that would never do that....just a thought...

I just finished a story about two couples staying up north (winter story). part of the fun, was watching and being watched. this was not a full swap for us, as only the girls played together but the men did watch!

I like the idea of sharing and experimenting, but not sure I want to run into people I know (so how's your sons baseball going, great, ok now suck my cock). I think that's where the option of going on a trip makes sense. It's surely not a twice-a-week kind of thing, is it? And as far as swing clubs, I would think that if you DID run into people you know, you are both there, so you can't really call them out on it!

I think my biggest concern would be spending money to go to a swinger resort and not find any/as many couples as you thought you would.

But I guess there is only one way to find out!
