I've seen this pose many times but not in Yoga. The SWAT team calls it a patty squat. You can hold the low profile position longer then knelling on your knees and get up quickly. Plus its a steady position to shoot a rifle from. I don't think SWAT got it from Yoga but instead for Some of the Vietnam Vets. I won't let the cops know there doing a Yoga pose. It will go easier on there fragile ego's.
