I just got my first legit, non-entry level slr!! Sorry, just ridiculously excited. I love doing industrial stuff. Old factories, cars, scrapyards, etc. It's interesting the kind of stuff that you can find there that makes for a great shot. I never would have expected it.

Your camera sounds really cool! When you go looking for stuff to shoot what about it interests you? It seems like you are into industrial looking objects. Is it the rawness of the materials that attracts you? Just curious.

It's usually the randomness of it. You just never know what you might find and what form it'll take. Finding plants in old warehouses, old bits of machinery and equipment, rust and other stains on metal..... All kinds of weirdness. You just look around and find stuff that's interesting. Not sure why it appeals to me though. I guess it's just that there's so much to find, and so many directions that you can take it. Plus, it's easier to afford the gear if I can justify that I have to keep it portable.

It's not as interesting as it sounds. The results are always more interesting than the process. Which is pretty much the exact opposite of the shots you guys take.
