Hi to all the wonderful people out there.

Since a lot of people have rooms/threads so people can pop in and say hi. I thought I'd add my own.

Come be part of my world. Chat, vent, feel free to be yourselves.

Love to hear from all of you and know where in the world you are

As you can tell from my name - travel is of interest to me so I thought it would be interesting to see where everyone is from when they say hi.

Love to hear from all of you and know where in the world you are
Good Morning,
I travel for my job so I guess I am from all over.

Good Morning trvllady. My name is Carrie and I live in Michigan's Upper Peninsula. Welcome to Lit!

Good morning Tvllady,

I'm called Trent. I live on the Eastern side of middle Alabama.

Although no longer, I moved a great deal for years, so have lived a fair number of places, including not very far from the GTA, years ago.

Good luck with your thread.

I think my favourite place I have been was to Ireland last year - everyone was so friendly and it was so beautiful and filled with history.

Hi Trent -

Would love to get into your area of the world for a holiday someday - love the southern states and all the history they hold.

How close were you to the GTA? Not everyone knows where it is.

Thank you for the wishes :rose:

Not over close, but relatively. I went to school at SUNY Fredonia, about 90 miles south of Buffalo. Many a road trip to Fort Erie....Bradoor and Extra Stock
Come on down in the late fall or winter when the temperatures are easier. :rose:

Could never forget Guinness -I developed a liking for it and everyone over here thinks I am crazy to drink it. :)

Hey, it was a long time ago, back when you could bring a full size stationwagon or two filled to the brim of ( bootleg/contraband) beer across the border. Uh oh..telling my age here

Then come on down :)

I live about 90 miles west of the twin Soos. My favorite place to visit so far, was to the Lake in the Clouds over in the Western UP. Beautiful place!!

I remember Brador - so guess I'm showing my age too. Don't mind your age - it is only a number.

Maybe I will head that way someday ;) Would have to be an extended road trip.

I am familiar with the twin Soos- Lived on the other side for almost half my life.

Lake in the Clouds is a beautiful name.........bet it looks nice too.

hi there gang

I think as long as we are talking about beautiful places a little closer to home you have to mention Algonquin park - sitting on a rock outcrop jutting into a lake with nothing but the wolves for company is about as good as it gets... well... unless you brought a playmate to enjoy it with...

That sounds gorgeous.................shame I'm nowhere near :(

it is definately worth the trip - but not until at least July - it is hard to fully enjoy its beauty when any exposed skin is attacked by legions of bugs.

Well hello Trvl! Happy to contribute to your thread. I live in the capital city of the USA -- and I would be honored to show you the monuments!

good morning Trvllady  :rose:

I thought I would pass through and say hi

I am on the south coast of England :)

Hi Trvllady!

Wanted to pop in and congratulate you on your thread!!

Everyone here knows me as Sadie. I'm from the Midwest ~ so you'll find I'm very polite, very opinionated, and have a rather flat accent. ;)

Have a wonderful day!!!
