Gosh.. as kid.. but that was so long ago... I can't remember the circumstances.

yeah.. but I wasnt good at it, I got caught. I dont remember how young I was..but probably about 8 or 9... I saw a package of the papers they used to sell as eyeglass cleaners and I wanted them. Since there was no reason for me to have them, Mom said no... when her back was turned, I pocketed them. She caught me and made me apologize to the store owner in front of everyone in the store.. lectured me about stealing all the way home.. and then.. she made me tell Daddy about what I did. That was the worst, having him look at me so sadly and tell me how disappointed he was in me.

I never stole anything again... even after he died... I couldnt bear to think of that face, of him being disappointed, ever.
