Trump repeats same talking points during Musk interview - but the former president’s ‘lisp’ steals the show​

‘Did Trump pause campaign rallies because of this massive lisp he has on this Twitter interview with Elon?’ one X user posted.

“Is it just me….. What is wrong with trumps voice??” another wrote. “Sound like he has a lisp??”

“Trump got hit by the CIA lisp gun” posted a third.

In an emailed response to an inquiry about the lisp from a Huffington Post reporter, the Trump campaign said, “Must be your shitty hearing. Get your ears checked.”

It wasn't the lisp that caught my attention as much as one quote he said with it:

I had a hard time listening to the details because that lisp was so distracting.

I did catch though that he's going to run away to Venezuela if he loses.

You’ve got grown ass men just showing themselves to be the weakest of men by sitting down and listening to this idiot and letting him just ramble about and never stop to object anything. That interview was a shitshow. Let's just gather ourselves for a minute and look at this situation-- a Presidential candidate continuing to emulate the absolute power of Kim Jong Un.

And this has the full-throated support of the GOP.

This is the type of stuff that makes corporate media look bad. The Hill has a top 5 takeaways article from it and the lisp isn't even mentioned as an aside. CNN does mention it in passing, but not as a stand alone.

This is the GOP frontrunner for the American presidency. And much of the media and all establishment republicans are completely ignoring this utterly incompetent display and acting as if this is normal and okay.

The man lisped, slurred and lied through the entirety of the "interview". Insanity.

The MSM has a huge bias toward Republicans. Donald Trump is sinking in the polls despite all the media carrying water for him.

Effect of a bullet through his ear? Hollow-sounding lisp, do you think that might be symptomatic of psychological trauma? A wounded man might need a test of his cognitive abilities again. Perhaps Dr. Mary Trump could administer one for her Uncle?

I'm concerned we might have an issue with an elderly convicted felon trying to effectively run a nation. ;)
