Trump's Tweeter

Do you think Obama made a fortune on his Smith & Wesson stock? :)

Think he's short selling before he tweets?

There's no question in my mind that that would be ethically wrong but it's only recently that it's even illegal for congress people to engage in insider trading. I don't know where that cobbled-together piece of legislation includes the president or not.

I don't think it does.
From everything I've read Trump's statement that "the president can't have conflicts of interests" is technically true, from a legal standpoint.
Not at all true ethically.

All Trump has to do is distance himself from his kids money. They profit and run his business affairs. He sets up the conditions by which they profit. In 4 years he goes back to private life with yet another few million bucks in the bank and another casino failure.

That wouldn't eliminate the ethics issues.
And legally he doesn't even need to do that.

It always makes me laugh when people point out his casino failures. Big fucking deal. I think the man is a weirdo, but he knows how to make money. And of the ventures he has, he's clearly got more successful ones than failures. Every single person doesn't hit 100% good on business decisions. Warren Buffet, probably the most notable investor ever has made some bad choices.

Donald Trump does enough stupid stuff without resorting to making fun of things that don't really matter. Ooooh, a business failed. Oooooh he avoided legally paying taxes. He must be a business retard.

He survived two seperate major real estate downturns.

A few million? He's a multi-billionaire. Do you know what a billion is?
