Trump's 60 minutes tantrum

what anyone with more than half a brain already knew:
Stahl previously said that during an off-camera conversation with Trump in 2016, when he was running for President, he admitted his attacks on the press were meant to discredit negative stories that emerged about him.

"He said, 'You know why I do it? I do it to discredit you all and demean you all so when you write negative stories about me, no one will believe you.' He said that," Stahl said.

He really doesn't want to be president, but his ego won't let him stop.

Being president also provides him some legal cover. That's what he is after now. The hounds have him treed and the democrats are on the verge of bringing him down.

He'll be on a jet plane 11/4.

his options are somewhat limited, though
The European Union has omitted the United States from its list of countries whose tourists may visit. Americans still can't vacation in their neighbor to the north, Canada, nor head to many Asian favorites such as Japan.
While most US travelers are staying close to home with short-distance car trips, some still want to go abroad. For those people, there are still popular vacation options such as Mexico, Ireland and South Korea. And the list has been slowly growing.

The *real* reason Donald Trump walked out of that '60 Minutes' interview

(CNN)On Tuesday, President Donald Trump abruptly ended an interview with Lesley Stahl of "60 Minutes" and refused to return for a second interview alongside Vice President Mike Pence.

Why? CNN's Kaitlan Collins and Khalil Abdallah explain: "Trump walked out of the interview because he was frustrated with Stahl's line of questioning, one source said. Another person said the bulk of the interview was focused on coronavirus."

Trump, just like his Cult-45 followers, behaves like a perpetual victim.

Trump, just like his Cult-45 followers here on Lit, had his emotional development arrested at about age 14, because he did not get enough of Daddy's attention/approval.

Maybe he cried too much as a baby.

You’re going to make me cry. Don’t do that. I don’t want to cry. I don’t want to cry. You make me cry, you’ll destroy my image, and then you won’t love me anymore.

I hadn't thought of it that way, but that is smart marketing. Millions of Americans were and still are victimized in the cannibalizing phase of imperial decline, when the empire's global wealth pump can't take enough wealth from the world to pay the costs of conquest, so it cannibalizes itself to enrich the wealthy and the military.
