Hah. I used to wonder the same thing. I was told that earlier politics would always enter the other sex boards and in an effort to keep the sex boards politics-free they created this politics board. I stayed away at first, but seeing our country becoming destroyed by a madman, and seeing a fair number of Lit folks falling into this destructive cult I started to join in to fight this scourge wherever it exists.
If there's a messageboard for NASCAR fans, it probably has a political section.

That cannot be corrected, ever, in any political system conceivable. Just consider what pols have to do, to get elected, and, once elected, to get anything done. And history shows all non-democratic systems are even more dishonest.
