Trump v china

If I were you, I;d be worrying about the EU vs Britain and the world

as so many European economies are crashing.

Serious. You and chipbutty have a priority problem.

Those people who were endlessly caterwauling about Russia trying to influence our elections should be paying attention to what China just did.

Their new tariffs are not targeted at the United States economy,
but instead are targeted to hurt a handful of states that
ultimately had a hand in getting him elected.

You need to pay attention folks.

Nobody ever accused them of being stupid criminals.

They are smart mobsters...

I'm less than half as worried about China as I am the health of Justice Ginsburg.
If she cannot hold out for a Democrat administration,
this country is going to melt down...

Disney is working on an audio-animatronic version. :)

I can tell you with medical certainty she is dying and will not be around much longer.

Given the nature of the deep state she may already be dead and they are keeping it another dark secret.

Back to China.

The idea was to so thoroughly integrate Chain into the international economy that they'd play by the established rules. Obviously that didn't happen. The Chinese government could best be described as modeled after the criminal syndicates. Li/Ji are the bosses of bosses, the senior party members are the family Dons, with the lesser officials plying the role of the "made men."

No company does business in China without either the government or one of the "families" being party to the contract. And every contract has a "technology transfer" clause built in. Those technologies that are not transferred under the contract provisions are stolen. At least they are equal opportunity thieves, they steal from the Russians too.

Trump has yet to play his trump card (no pun intended there) although he did allude to it early in his administration. The State Dept. along with the DoD in consultation with the other agencies can declare any resource and/or technology "strategic"and restrict, or out and out ban, the export of same. They can issue dispensations on a nation by nation basis, or revoke those dispensations. A great many US companies are currently operating under such dispensations in China. That list of resources and technologies is subject to revision at any time. Companies found to be in violation of those rules can be severely punished up to and including corporate officers. Trump has considerably more leverage than most people realize under those rules.

寧為太平犬,莫做亂離人

Better to be a dog in a peaceful time, than to be a human in a chaotic (warring) period.

Seriously? The TDS'rs are cheering the CCP right now, they want nothing more than a recession and to stick it to the flyover nobodies they consider subhuman deplorables.

Politics, or wall envy?

The national security business of the United states.

This is Donald Trump protecting the security of the United States and the intellectual property and technology of the US and its citizens from an implacable foe bent on stealing it.

The Chinese have 300.000 "students' in the Colleges and universities of the United States, each on required by Chinese law to spy on those universities and colleges and report technological advances and other information to the Chinese communist government.

Trump can’t protect the security of US elections from Russian interference. You think he’s going to keep China from hacking Black+Decker crockpots?

Donald Trump’s only concern is Donald Trump... Put down the kool-aid, vette.

Remember, clueless clown, the alleged Russian interference occurred during the Obama administration.

But you claim that Russia didn't interfere in the 2016 election. So, what you're saying is that there was no Russian interference but if there was, it was Obama's fault?

No, Shire Clown said Trump couldn't protect the US from Russian election interference, when no such election has taken place. The alleged Russian interference did occur, but not as described by the left at the behest of the Trump campaign, but with the blessing and assistance of the Obama administration. This alleged interference happened on Obama's watch, he was the CinC at the time.

The Russians, the Chinese, the Iranians, and the North Koreans, are all going to be trying to help elect a Democrat candidate in 2020 and there's no reason to believe the anti-Trump Deep state, the media, and the DNC won't be helping them to do so either.

The new tariffs are poised to go into effect in stages, with the first round beginning Sept. 1 and the second Dec. 15. China's Commerce Ministry said 5,078 products would be affected, including soybeans, fruit and seafood Sept 1. and coffee, cars, auto parts, chemicals, whiskey, cigars, clothing and TVs Dec. 15.

Soybeans: midwest farmers already receiving billions in socialist payments because China wasn't buying the same amount of soybeans they had been previously.

Fruit: think California, Florida, Georgia and the Carolinas.

Auto parts: think the steel industry which makes the parts.

Whiskey: rednecks from Tennessee and Kentucky.

You can't bullshit me, I've read the Mueller report and I have a functioning brain and critical thinking skills.

Why did Manafort give polling data to the Russians?

Why did Manafort give polling data to the Russians?

He shared polling information with Konstantin Kilimnik, a Ukrainian, who is alleged to have contacts with the Russians. He didn't give the data to the Russians, and if he did it wouldn't have been illegal in the first place. ztry and get your functioning brain to focus on the fact that he isn't charged with giving polling data to the Russians, he's been convicted of lying to Robert Mueller’s prosecutors about it. Here are two Politico articles on the subject:
