feed hungry and starving children or burn it? trump's administration would sooner burn it than feed the children.

The Trump administration has ordered 500 metric tons of emergency food aid—enough to feed 1.5 million malnourished children for a week—to be incinerated tomorrow rather than be distributed as part of its ongoing purge of USAID. The high-energy biscuits, intended for children under five living in war and disaster zones, are currently being stored in a warehouse in Dubai and were meant to be shipped out this year, but will instead go to waste due to cuts by the Department of Government Efficiency (DOGE) effectively halting nearly all forms of foreign aid.

U.S. warehouses around the world currently house 60,000 tons of food, including peas and cereal originally bound for famine-stricken Sudan, which the administration is now unable to deliver even if it wanted to after gutting USAID and firing logistical experts.

This shows how callous, heartless, and cruel our nation's leaders have become.

How can anyone in good faith, who can claim to be a good person, truly support something like this? How far has the U.S. sunk?

There is still goodness in this country. Though you wouldn't know it by reading the hate-filled invectives of certain people on this board.

When are people going to realize that Trump isn't a Republican? He never was and never will be.

Much like Adolf Hilter, he joined a political party and took it over.

Much like Adolf Hitler, Trump released his "Project 2025, whereas, Hitler's version was "25-point program."

Much like Adolf Hitler, Trump has used hate and division as a weapon.

Much like Adolf Hitler, he doesn't think anyone who doesn't have "pure blood" should be treated with decency and respect or claim presidency in his country.

Much like Adolf Hitler, Trump is rounding up human beings and locking them up like animals.

Life has a way of repeating itself. And we're witnessing it.

All his supporters who claim to be God fearing Christians have just as much blood on their hands as Trump and his administration.

They're just as cruel, inhumane, cowardly, demonic and sadistic as he is.

Just like Hitler, Trump killed 6 million Jews. Lol. :)

So now genocide is funny? Ermmmmmkayyyyyy...
In any event, those six million Jews Hitler murdered? He didn't do it right away, he spent years priming the pump and working his supporters up to the point where they supported or at least condoned the "Final Solution". And the way Trump talks about immigrants is exactly the sort of language Hitler used against the Jews to make that possible.

Comparing Trump to Hitler is a funny thing Democrats with TDS like to do. :)

On a recent business trip to Toronto I talked with someone in an airport bar about the Canadians boycotting American products. They were annoyed that people didn't know White Claw, though wildly popular in the USA, is actually a Canadian product and shouldn't be boycotted!

They're dropping everything from bourbon to vacation travel to Florida!

Lol. Mr. MorningStar says everyone is welcome here.
Any time of year.

You have a room reservation waiting on your visit too.

because the similiarities between Hitler in 1933-1934 and Trump in 2025 are eerily similar, so the comparison is valid.

Remember, in 1933-1934 the gas chambers did not yet exist and the Holocaust was barely ramping up.
Compare Trump's rhetoric against immigrants and Hitler's rhetoric against Jews, and his actions against immigrants and those of Hitler towards the Jews in the early years of his rule (1933-34)- again, the blatant similiarities are there.

It is not so much "TDS" as it is, vigilance, and spreading the word so people will STAND UP, FIGHT BACK, so that Trump won't be able to get away with what Hitler was able to do.

This is the point.

Now granted, you will miss the point, as you always do. You will probably deliberately miss the point, in fact. But those of us with the intellectual capacity to understand, and the moral character to do something about it- this point will not be lost on them.

Not to mention, this kind of "aw golly, folks, we can't be that bad, can we?" that Saint Ann is engaging in here is exactly what the right has been doing ever since Ronald Reagan said "There you go again" (everyone remembers that line; no one remembers it was in response to Jimmy Carter's warning that he would try to cut Medicare if elected - and Carter was right). It works precisely because the Republicans are so extreme, the truth about them sounds to low-information voters like it must be an exaggeration. But it isn't.

What is Hitler ultimately known for? The Holocaust. All the other points the op posted could be attributed to Obama just as easily. If Trump were to murder 6 million Jews at some point, I will allow the comparison. Until then, it's TDS. Feel free to jump up and down, stomp your feet and scream, and of course, exude hate in the mean time. :)

No, they could not, and you know it. And again, the Holocaust started with exactly the behavior and rhetoric we've been seeing from Trump.

And if he murders six million Latinos, that's TDS too, is it?

Really? Trump is sending missiles against US citizens?

And if he murders six million Latinos, that's TDS too, is it?

Yes it is. Because it's not happening and it's not going to happen.
