When people work then people are paid. This is true also for soldiers, they should not get involved without being paid.

During WWII, when some mountaineers were taking persecuted people across the France-Spain border, these mountaineers wanted to be paid, just a modest fee, because they needed to live from day to another. They risked their life but they were charging very modestly, it was very nice of them.

Americans do a good job, and they should get paid. I hope that on this occasion they will get paid more than the mountaineers on the France-Spain border.

Of course, Barack Obama would deprive American soldiers of any benefits, he let American soldiers die without caring for them. But Obama did care for Iranian regime, he supplied $$ and arms to terrorists.

Nations don't have entirely separate homeland security needs. Neither does the United States. Ensuring Saudi Arabia's stability and U.S. regional interests have some part of the preservation of the United States' security in long-term U.S. security planning and operation as well. In that vein, having U.S. troops in Saudi Arabia has some share of protecting U.S. homeland security. To the extent that's so, if Saudi Arabia will bear the cost burden, that seems fine to me. The question is to what extent the Trump administration understands any of this. As a payback was couched by Donald Trump, the answer to that seems to be that he doesn't understand it at all--and certainly is clueless in explaining it to the American public.

This begs the issue that the pay isn't going to the soldiers. It's going to an administration that is openly couching its soldiers in terms of slaves to the state. I think Trump just stated this issue stupidly and is clueless. He does, though, seem to have found the explanation that other stupid people, his core, like to hear.
