The man is a first class traitor, and deserves what all traitors get

They get statues.

All over the place.

That are now getting pulled down.

Go figure.

What do you think he should say?

What could he say that you would support???

Right...not a fucking thing.

There isn't ANYTHING he could say the #RESISTANCE wouldn't blast him for.

His base doesn't give a fuck, why should they? 99.9% won't be going to fight and the ones that do got a fuckin' hard on over it.

So why should he say anything??

Actually, as usual, the idjits of the board fucked this story up too.

The WH did "say" something. McEnany gave a statement that neither Trump nor Pence were briefed on the issue because the underlying information could not be verified. ie, it was fake news.

Why should Trump make an official policy statement over fake news?

He can't figure a way to make a buck on it other than collecting the bounty himself and he is too chicken to do that so he will do nothing

That's cool.

I don't really care either way it's not really an important thing imo.....shit the fake news being fake news is more important than Russia giving us the finger on our way out of Afghanistan.

Just like the corona virus, trump will deny it and wait for it to go away. Btw, how is that working out anyways?

The only way it was ever going to go.

It's an infectious disease, it's going to run it's course, people will die and the world will keep spinning.

That's what the Nixon WH said about the Washington Post and its reporting of Watergate... but the reporters followed the money and it was the administration which was found to be lying.

What's in it for the NYT to lie?

Now let's look at a few quotes by administration officials...

"There is no consensus within the intelligence community on these allegations," White House press secretary Kayleigh McEnany said, adding "there are "dissenting opinions" on the intelligence assessment."

McEnany went on to say "the intelligence was not shared with President Trump because it had not yet been verified. A bipartisan group of eight lawmakers have been briefed on the matter."

"We stand by our story, the details of which have not been denied by the President's own National Security agencies," spokeswoman Eileen Murphy said.

"We’ve known for a long time that Putin is a thug and a murderer, and if the allegations reported in the New York Times are true, I will work with President Trump on a strong response," tweeted Senate Armed Services Committee Chairman James Inhofe, R-Okla. "Right now, though, we need answers."

Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell, R-Ky., said in a statement that he has "long warned about Russia’s efforts to undermine U.S. interests in the Middle East from Syria to Afghanistan."

"Nobody's been tougher on Russia than the Trump administration," Trump said in tweet.
This is what Ben Bradley called a non denial denial.

These statements do NOT suggest this issue is "fake" news... it sounds more like la douche bag trump has to circle the wagons and insulate himself from actual knowledge with a story that has "plausible deniability." My question would be... how could trump NOT be briefed on such an issue even if it's only being further investigated?

BountyGate

WH is having a briefing on BountyGate ONLY for Republican members of Congress.

Good precedent to set.

What a complete asshole we have for POTUS who is surrounded by assholes.

Just imagine the Republican outrage over this, if Obama was President.

We saw that clearly with Benghazi. One bit of faulty intelligence about protests before the attack, and the GOP went postal.

There'd be ten to twenty threads about it and how Obama is making us weak in the face of our enemies and the worst president ever that needs to go....and about five current nimrods here would've made 3/4ths of them.

That's funny, because Russia is calling it "fake news," too. WHat a coincidence that Trump believes Russia over U.S. Intelligence.

McEnany is officially a mouthiece for Putin's bullshit, and you're repeating the Russian mindfuckery.

Let's unpack the lies.

First of all, McEnany is just repeating the Trumpian lie of the day that he "never heard of it. Didn't get the brief." Yeah, he did. He was briefed. It was in one of the PDBs.

Second of all, you obviously don't know how intelligence works. It's not "news." It's not scientific. They don't have the same standards as journalism. A lot of it IS rumor and speculation and possibility. It's assessed and weighed. Sometimes it comes with photos or documentary "proof," sometimes it doesn't.

Example: they didn't KNOW it was bin laden hiding out in Pakistan. They never knew. It was never 100% verified, until they found him and shot him. They could have made the raid and found out it wasn't. Gee, maybe they should never have done it since no one could "verify" it. Obama went ahead with it based on only a 65% probability it actually was bin laden, and a vote.

They assess the information. Weight it, consider it, judge it. If something makes it into the PDB, that doesn't mean it's been "proven" to a 100% satisfaction. it does mean it's been vetted.

So the bullshit that McEnany repeated that it didn't make it into a brief (a lie to begin with) because it hadn't been "verified" is laughable.

You're an idiot.

And McEnany would never bend the truth, she’s as honest as her boss.
