What in the actual fuck? The "billion is in the bank"? That is the price we put on our soldiers lives?

Seriously, once a month I think - This is the rock bottom of this Administration. And every time I am treated to a new low.

I for one do not believe that the US Army was envisioned by our forefathers as mercenaries to be sold to the highest bidder. Makes me sick.

“Saudi Arabia is paying us for [our troops]. We have a very good relationship with Saudi Arabia,” Trump said. “I said, listen, you’re a very rich country. You want more troops? I’m going to send them to you, but you’ve got to pay us. They’re paying us. They’ve already deposited $1 billion in the bank.”

Apparently this was during a propaganda session with Laura Ingraham. Here is a little reminder of the last gift we got from our Saudi "friends":

So this is what happens when one listens to the BS on CNN? No surprise.

Considering how many of our people are stationed in other countries all over the world I am surprised someone noticed...

How many military bases does the US have?

The United States has military bases in around 150 countries, some of which are not officially classed as American bases and some are not formally acknowledged by the US. The number of bases in total exceeds 1,000 worldwide, many of them are located in the Middle East.

Remember that Saudi dude a few weeks ago that legally purchased a gun and used it to kill some of our guys? The US finally decided to look at the rest of them here...13 were just deported for having actual ties to terrorists. Why were they here? To learn to fly? And who paid them to come here? Who took the money? Without even doing background checks. Republicans will sell out to anything.

The Clinton's are Republicans?

It happen just a few weeks ago que. Who was our President? End of argument.

I thought our soldiers, the military, not carelessly wasting the lives of servicepeople ... was the line the deplorables wouldn't let be crossed. Even by their false "profit".

Congrats. Your sons and daughters are cannon fodder for a bunch of Sunni Muslims who flew jets into the Towers on 9/11.

But the treasury got a billion dollars. And Trump got who knows how much? (We don't. He won't show his taxes).

Now that is the art of the deal.

WASHINGTON (Reuters) - U.S. President Barack Obama’s administration has offered Saudi Arabia more than $115 billion in weapons, other military equipment and training, the most of any U.S. administration in the 71-year U.S.-Saudi alliance, a report seen by Reuters has found.

So, unfounded bullshit. And why do people bring up Obama and Hillary when Trump betrays our country? Fucking weak shit.

In which bank account was this billion dollars deposited? That's what I want to know.

Y'know, they've been there since 1990.

It just took Trump to have the Kingdom pony up a few extra bucks to keep the lights on.

The US has had troops in Japan since 1945, guess what, they pay an annual stipend for sovereign defence as well. In the long run it's cheaper than building up domestic forces, AND earning extra portions with the US of Fuckin'A.

Win-Win.

Always amusing the blustering triggered when their situational outrage is highlighted.

Okinawa-Diego Garcia-Saudi Arabia.
Places the US has had permanent military presence since WWII. Only one has been actually physically threatened with invasion in our lifetime.

Trump is getting them to finally pony up cash to defend them. If you call that 'triggered', we can go back to the wholesale rioting in Florida when Al Gore mistakenly believed he could be POTUS.

Now if you want to talk about the Saudi defence forces being geared up to primarily defend against domestic revolt...that is a different th'd. But today, right now, the Saudi's need the US to defend their country against their neighbours in a bad corner of the world.
Like it or lump it, but don't call the US service members there "mercenaries". They are nowhere near paid enough to be private security.

1. Japan is far more liberal than Saudi Arabia.

2. Japan is more of a protectorate of the US. They couldn't be trusted with an armed forces given WWII, but who was going to protect them from the commies? The USA. Japan has been described as the US's largest aircraft carrier.

3. Japan didn't fund Al Qaeda, the Taliban, or Islamic State.

4. Japan doesn't use it's arms against Yemeni civilians.

Ned Beatty gave some insight:

The Saudis sell cheap oil to the US (and others).

The Saudis buy stuff, including lots of unneeded American weaponry.

The arms industry lobbies cushions the Republicans and Republicans-lite (i.e. Democrats).

Some of these arms are used to hurt innocents, but as most of them are brown, their lives don't particularly matter.

As for diversions that lead to things like 911, such are considered acceptable losses. It is possible that no billionaire died in that attack—no conspiracy, just the situation.

Trump came off as a reformer, as a swamp drainer.

Hah! You fools.

He offered you Kool-Aid, delicious Kool-Aid, and some of you drank liters of the stuff.

Effectively coping with this situation takes work—fortunately not as hard as it is for a Saudi, Iranian, or even Japanese, but it takes work; but I suppose we'd rather be getting into political-bi-polar fights in internet forums about which of us has the better master. Our team can kick your ass.

It didnt have anything to do with immigration dumbfuck. They were here to be "trained". Except, we just take the money instead of looking at "who" we actually train. Brilliant.
