Cell phones inside the Capitol are being identified and the name, address, and phone number of those devices are to be provided to the FBI.

Speaking of which, the other day when I mentioned that all of the Republicans in the "safe room" in the Capitol refused to wear masks "on principle"....and one of the hundred or so in that room tested positive for Covid today.

This is 2021, everything is TRACKED, you can't even get away with much crime these days.

It does rather beg the question...why didn't the FBI trace the looters and rioters of BLM and ANTIFA by their phones??
 
Good thing for Democrats that they don't have to worry about riots or cell phones.
They have a political get out of jail free card...

because they didn't commit an act of terrorism, murder a police officer or threaten to hang the vice president.

The answer is the Feds did. Since you folks who think looting a target is the same as looting the Capitol and you all are not so good a reading a news paper or feed...

... they were rounded up in the same way.

So, you're redefining looting down based on the "Target."

That's simply condoning that which you approved of.

Looting is looting and civil unrest and
it was not dealt with so it continued.

It was a bit more than looting a Target. Court houses and a Police station were burned down, also people's shop's and business's.

The deep state often placing random building materials such as pallets of paving slabs and bricks in convenient places ahead of a "protest" hasn't gone unnoticed either.
 
PS - They were not "my" people no matter how much you want them to be
or how often you ascribe me the moniker of Republican or Trumper...

I vote Libertarian. There is a pox on both major parties.

So that is the bar that has to be reached before the FBI consider using mobile phone data to track someone??
