Trump reposts AI-generated images of Taylor Swift appearing to endorse him

Taylor Swift has yet to endorse any presidential candidate this election cycle. But former President Donald Trump says he accepts the superstar’s non-existent endorsement.

Trump posted “I accept!” on his Truth Social account, along with a carousel of (Swift) images – at least some of which appear to be AI-generated.

One of the AI-manipulated photos depicts Swift as Uncle Sam with the text, “Taylor wants you to vote for Donald Trump.” The other photos depict fans of Swift wearing “Swifties for Trump” T-shirts.

This has been posted on several other threads, yet once again (as you have done in the past), you have to create yet another thread.

I don't deliberately create duplicate threads I do searches before I post but sometimes my searches don't reveal duplicate content mainly because the criteria I entered doesn't sync the search engine to match the content that you and I would immediately notice as duplicate. The reason I do this is: that search engines aka AI isn't smart enough to flag every dup, and I don't read every post so I don't realize it has been posted on page 14 of some thread I never read.

We have a presidential candidate using AI to break the law to gain votes that's a big deal that may have huge ramifications. Isn't something like that worthy of its thread even if it was mentioned in passing in other threads? This will probably change political advertisements, elections, and the law for starters.

All my incoming calls go to voicemail. If they leave a message [often there is none] I listen for the name. If it's someone I know, I return the call. Otherwise, I delete it.

It's pointless passing more laws, there are already plenty on the books regarding election integrity etc that he happily ignores. His cult followers continue to endorse him in the face of unlimited evidence and there's nothing that can be done about that. Maybe one day they'll take counselling.

yes, I understand that.. Do you understand what he did was illegal? Unless Swift expressly permitted him to use her image to deceive her fans into voting for him. At the very least her image is copyrighted and perhaps even registered as a trademark.

Do you understand Trump's expressed reason for using the image was demented? The fact he thought the image was real shows how out of touch with reality he is, don't you agree?
