Trump pushes to swap Electoral College for popular vote

I'm sure there's a good reason for it. After all, the popular vote came 1st and it's all that's left for the LibDems to cling to. It's the new hope.

POTUS Trump's true Independent nature is starting to show. I never once believed him to be a real Republican. The Dems are still pissed he switched his loyalty prior to the elections. They loved his money at the time though. Not bad for a non political figure.

Yep.

Too bad being an indy doesn't necessarily equates to being good.

While I'm not a fan of the College—if the opinion of a Canadian means much—I'm not sure nationwide popular votes are good either. Both Canada and US are federal, not unitary, countries.

Some day I'll post my proposals

In the meantime, it means little: it would require an amendment. As for Trump's supposed magnanimity, it's unlikely the College will be a factor again in the next election.

Demon Rats are clueless of FEDERALISM.

Federalism means each state gets to qualify voters how they want, but popular vote doesant matter

States decide who votes, and electoral votes are the only votes that count.

I guess that makes Trump a Demon Rat

FFS, this idiot had over 10 hours to respond to my post and he posts shit like this?

The popular vote does matter: in the state.

Go back to /pol/.

You're responding to one of Lit.'s classic trolls in his new alt, James B. Johnson. That kind of paints you with the same brush you're using. :D
