Trump is Jumping Up and Down and Screaming For Attention

What am I looking at ?

Every picture tells a story, unless the cover of the book does
not match the story that is printed inside the covers...
Trump is waving the hard-cover book cover, as if it were a flag.
Who knows what the reality of the situation in the Ukraine, is ?

On the other hand, everyone that reads reality based news,
knows the score- Trump Media Fuckery is not meant to obscure
what is done- it underlines it, and trolls everyone attempting
to bring reality into the discussion.

(Mike) Pence probably knew that the aid was being withheld
as “a stick” when he met with Zelensky.

Zelensky delighted Ukraine received an extra $140 million dollars

(The state department pulls $140 million from the thin air- where
was it sourced from ?)

During the 2016 presidential campaign, the release of a ledger
documenting millions of dollars of off-books payments from
the former Ukrainian government to Paul Manafort helped
lead to Manafort’s ouster as Trump’s campaign chairman.
Manafort had been a consultant to Ukrainian President
Viktor Yanukovych, the Russia-friendly leader who
was forced to resign in 2014.

Giuliani said that the release of that information was part
of a coordinated campaign by the Ukrainian government
to help Democrats. He offered no evidence.

Serhiy Leshchenko, the Ukrainian lawmaker who revealed
the ledger, says he released the information to try to fight
corruption in Ukraine, not intervene in U.S. politics.

The second matter raised by Giuliani involved a probe of
the Ukrainian gas tycoon who put Hunter Biden on the board
of his company Burisma.

This Was Examined and Debunked!

While it may look as if Biden exploited the loan money as leverage
in order to kill an investigation into a corporation that employed his
son, Bloomberg learned that the Burisma investigation had been
shuttled to the back burner in 2015 before Biden’s trip and, the
report added, the Obama administration’s intention was to
convince the Ukrainian government to crack down on
corruption in general.

A former Ukrainian official, Vitaliy Kasko, told Bloomberg,
“There was no pressure from anyone from the U.S. to close
cases against [Mykola] Zlochevsky.”

Fast forward to 2019. Somewhere around the time Rudy
Giuliani held meetings with prosecutor Lutsenko in New York,
Ukraine reopened the case against Burisma in March of this year
(although Bloomberg disputes this detail as well). The Times also
reported that Lutsenko took up the case again in order “to curry
favor from the Trump administration for his boss and ally.”

Bloomberg and the New York Times agree in their reporting
that Burisma was a topic of conversation between Giuliani
and Lutsenko in Manhattan.

However, since Ukraine elected a new president, 41-year-old
Volodymyr Zelensky, a reformer who’s not beholden to the
Kremlin, prosecutor Lutsenko was replaced by Ruslan Riaboshapka
in late August. So this means the Trumpers have to start from scratch,
trying to convince the new Ukrainian government to keep digging into
Hunter and Joe Biden. Naturally, Rudy answered the call, meeting with
officials from the Zelensky administration in Madrid, according to the
Times and confirmed by Giuliani, where Trump’s TV lawyer tried once
again to convince Ukraine to focus on the Bidens.

There were warnings, against getting mired in the impeachment
process during an election year.

Trump is following orders- from Putin

Trump creates disruption, chaos

https://www.msn.com/en-us/news/opin...r-security-for-his-gain/ar-AAHN08q?li=BBnb7Kz

Russia has been hacking or jamming Ukrainian military communications
since it seized Crimea and began supporting the separatists in 2014.

One item in the $391 million package Congress appropriated is a
secure system made by L3 Technologies, a unit of Harris Corp.,
that could allow the Ukrainians to maintain contact despite Russian
interference. The L3 equipment was ready for delivery in July when
the company was told no, there was a hold, the equipment couldn’t be
shipped, according to a congressional source.

Rep. Chrissy Houlahan (D-Pa.)

People who regard this latest Trump affair as just more
political noise should examine an op-ed published Monday
by seven freshman Democrats who served in Iraq, Afghanistan
or other military deployments. These aren’t reflexive Trump bashers.
They’re mostly from swing districts where impeachment isn’t very
popular, but the Ukraine case pushed them to recommend that radical
step.

Here’s what Houlahan and the six other national-security veterans wrote
in The Post: Trump “allegedly sought to use the very security assistance
appropriated by Congress to create stability in the world, to help root out
corruption and to protect our national security interests, for his own personal
gain.”

The former military and intelligence officers saw Trump’s actions
as a potential violation of his oath of office, requiring urgent investigation,
and they’re right. This isn’t just another partisan fight. It goes to the essential
obligations of a commander in chief.

This isn’t just another spat. Trump compromised our security for his gain.

Ukrainian soldiers are fighting a nasty proxy war against
Russian-backed separatists.

The United States is Ukraine’s ally in this fight. Ukrainian
commanders, battling to hold their country together against
a five-year onslaught by Russia, have been depending on U.S.
promises of military assistance. In life-or-death situations like
this, America’s word is its bond. But suddenly, in mid-July,
American commitments seemed to Ukrainians to have become
Trump’s political tool.

Well, the Ukrainian stuff wasn't just held as blackmail to support Trump against Biden, it was also held because Donald Trump is a bought and paid for (and delivering on a daily basis) asset of the Russian government.

Freshman Democrats:

"These allegations are a threat to all we have sworn to protect."

7 Representatives-

Gil Cisneros of California,
Jason Crow of Colorado,
Chrissy Houlahan of Pennsylvania,
Elaine Luria of Virginia,
Mikie Sherrill of New Jersey,
Elissa Slotkin of Michigan
Abigail Spanberger of Virginia

(All freshman Democrats.)

Their statement-

"Our lives have been defined by national service. "

"We are not career politicians."

"We are veterans of the military and of the nation’s defense and
intelligence agencies. Our service is rooted in the defense of our
country on the front lines of national security."

"This flagrant disregard for the law cannot stand."

"To uphold and defend our Constitution, Congress must determine
whether the president was indeed willing to use his power and
withhold security assistance funds to persuade a foreign country
to assist him in an upcoming election.

If these allegations are true, we believe these actions represent an
impeachable offense. We do not arrive at this conclusion lightly,
and we call on our colleagues in Congress to consider the use of
all congressional authorities available to us, including the power
of “inherent contempt” and impeachment hearings, to address these
new allegations, find the truth and protect our national security.

As members of Congress, we have prioritized delivering for our
constituents — remaining steadfast in our focus on health care,
infrastructure, economic policy and our communities’ priorities.
Yet everything we do harks back to our oaths to defend the country.
These new allegations are a threat to all we have sworn to protect.
We must preserve the checks and balances envisioned by the Founders
and restore the trust of the American people in our government.
And that is what we intend to do.

Unprecedented (on many levels) and remarkable, and not in a good way.

(Fuck! I hope he never gets desperate enough to drop real bombs.)

Any day now I expect Trump may drop bombs on New Mexico.

It would help to distract America from the impeachment inquiries, and I seriously doubt Trump understands that there's a difference between New Mexico and the other Mexico, south of the Rio Grande.

Trump's job is to keep the public entertained, in the front of the shop-
while the Good Ol' G.O.P Boys legislate the Extremist Religious
Right Wing's dreams into reality, on Thursdays and Fridays.
Often enacted late into the night, in the cover of darkness,
the legislation harms Americans that are not wealthy, not
born entitled to privileges that are not available to minority
communities, women that do not have a trust fund, migrants
that have no documentation that prevents abuse, or LGBT
that refuse to stand with Trump. How is that Republican
Log Cabin holding up ?

Wow Minneapolis:

Trump Boldly, Stupidly Heads to The Belly of the Beast

- Abby Zimet

September 29, 2019

Thus, smack dab in the middle of impeachment frenzy,
has Trump's re-election team announced he'll hold one
of his famously constructive, curative Nazi rallies-
Oct. 10 at Target Center in Minneapolis - the most Democratic city
in one of the most Democratic states, the progressive home of
Trump nemesis and wildly popular Congresswoman Ilhan Omar,
and a place so scarily diverse and Sharia-law-loving that rabid
GOPers once claimed it had white people's no-go zones. State
GOP leaders say they're "overjoyed" to have the Racist-In-Chief
come visit because he's "delivered on his promises, and he looks
forward to celebrating those successes with the great men and
women of Minnesota,” adding that Captain Bone Spurs is
"absolutely not afraid to go right into the belly of the beast"
show the contrast between his message of “believing in America"
vs. Omar’s “anti-American" rhetoric, because what's more appealing
to voters in a bitterly divided land than a hate-filled, spittle-flecked,
demented old white man venting and ranting against an elected
woman of color?

Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey, a young, hip Democrat, swiftly,
brutally responded. “Under ordinary circumstances, it would be
an honor to welcome a sitting President (and) showcase all our city
has to offer on the national stage. But these aren’t ordinary
circumstances,” he wrote, adding that Trump “does not value
(the) rights of Minneapolis’ diverse communities” and the city
“will not stand behind (him). While there is no legal mechanism
to prevent the president from visiting, his message of hatred will
never be welcome in Minneapolis.” City officials echoed him;
others argue the deadbeat who's stiffed ten cities for $841,219
in unpaid bills should at least pay up front for his abusive
performance.

Trump calls on China and Ukraine to probe Joe Biden

I don't use "breaking" often, but this is breaking …
like Richard Nixon telling America "I ordered the break-in."

Also from the pool report: POTUS said Ukraine should investigate
the Bidens. I would say President Zelensky, if it was me, I would
start an investigation into the Bidens," he (Trump) said from the
South Lawn.

Trump Just Committed More High Crimes
on the White House Lawn

- Jonathan Chait

"Now he (Trump) is dispensing with even that bare fig leaf
and openly committing impeachable offenses on the White
House lawn, and expanding the list to a second country while
he’s at it. He even throws in a threat that China would be
under “scrutiny” in the absence of such an investigation,
as if nepotistic business deals would be a scandal or illegal
in China:

Wow. Here's Trump making a veiled threat that China should
start investigating the Bidens because "I'm sure President XI
does not like being under that kind of scrutiny ...
they call that a payoff."

— Aaron Rupar (@atrupar) October 3, 2019

Trump at 10:37:24 a.m., talking about trade negotiations:
"I have a lot of options on China, but if they don't do what
we want, we have tremendous power."

Trump at 10:37:54 a.m., asked about Ukraine probe:
"Likewise, China should start an investigation into
the Bidens."

bodysong comment- I do not have expectations that Trump's supporters
will tell the truth, until they are seated in front of Congress.
Then, again, Trump's supporters have lied to Congress,
and paid for that.

A judge has ordered US President Donald Trump to hand over
eight years of his tax returns to New York investigators.

7 October 2019

The judge rejected arguments by the president's lawyers that
Mr Trump enjoyed total immunity while in office.

The ruling helps an investigation into hush money paid to two
women who claim they had affairs with Mr Trump.

Prosecutors said in a court filing that every US president since
Jimmy Carter had voluntarily released his tax returns before
or upon taking office.

In his 75-page decision on Monday, Judge Victor Marrero called
the president's claim of immunity "repugnant to the nation's
governmental structure and constitutional values", writing
that he would not allow a "categorical and limitless assertion
of presidential immunity from judicial process".

"The only thing truly absolute about presidential immunity
from criminal process is the Constitution's silence about the
existence and contours of such an exemption," he wrote.

"President Trump was definitely out-negotiated and only endorsed
the troop withdraw to make it look like we are getting something—
but we are not getting something," the National Security Council
source told Newsweek. "The U.S. national security has entered a
state of increased danger for decades to come because the president
has no spine and that's the bottom line."

Newsweek granted the National Security Council official anonymity
because they were not authorized to discuss the matter publicly.
The source said it would not be surprising to see a Turkish incursion
in the next 24 to 96 hours.
