Trump, imitates Cartman from South Park

Trump will do whatever he wants, and go where ever he wants.

No alligators were killed during his publicity stunt.

Private fundraising events, large donor contributions, PAC funds, individual donors stuck with no way to exit the Trump site robo donation collector.

East, West, North, and South, Trump is financing his campaign.

Did you get an invitation, for the Victory tour in Seattle ?

Trump, famous for using people's names without permission,
has been firmly told "I do not know you, I am not your friend."

People in Seattle got a rude surprise, when they opened an invitation from Trump.

Their names had been listed on the invitation, as supporters.

Without their permission.

Trump makes millions selling his name. Trump would most likely sue someone for using his name for false advertising.

But, it is OK for Trump to smear Trump slime on people without their permission.

No, these people are not cordially inviting you to come to Trump's fundaiser.

Trump visited Louisiana.

Hillary Clinton called, and spoke with Gov. Edwards. Her visit would cause distraction from the disaster efforts.

Trump was rude, and did not bother to speak with Gov. Edwards before he barged in.
Gov. Edwards had his hands full dealing with the flood disaster.
He did not want campaign nonsense and police resources pulled away from real work.
Gov. Edwards told him to volunteer and help, or give money.
Trump got a photo opportunity for one minute.
Trump gave no money.

Louisiana Gov. John Bel Edwards, a Democrat, says he won't be involved in Trump's visit.

We welcome him to LA, but not for a photo-op," said his spokesman Richard Carbo in a statement. "Instead we hope he'll consider volunteering or making a sizable donation to the LA Flood Relief Fund to help the victims of this storm. "

Edwards meanwhile, defending the administration's response Thursday, saying he has spoken daily with the White House and would prefer Obama hold off on visiting because such stops pull local police and first responders into providing security.

President Barack Obama is planning to visit Baton Rouge Tuesday (Aug. 23) to get a first-hand look at the catastrophic flooding across a large part of Louisiana.

A third Portland businessman and longtime supporter of Republican candidates backed away from Donald Trump on Monday, saying he never agreed to be listed as a host of the presidential nominee's Seattle fundraiser.

"While I have been a longtime supporter of Republican candidates and causes, I have no role in the Trump campaign and did not approve the use of my name in conjunction with any Trump campaign event in Seattle," Stott said in a statement to The Oregonian/OregonLive. "I have requested that the campaign and Republican Party correct their records and remove my name from any invitations or other materials."

Tickets for the event will cost donors $2,700 apiece, with high rollers paying $10,000 per couple for a photo reception with Trump, or $25,000 for dinner and a photo. For $100,000 per couple, event co-chairs will get a VIP meeting with the candidate.

Donald Trump rallies supporters in Virginia

AUGUST 20, 2016

Republican presidential candidate for a private nighttime fundraiser at the Minneapolis Convention Center.

Donald Trump roiled Minnesota politics for a few hours Friday night without ever showing his face in public.

Tickets to the fundraiser ranged from $1,000 per person to $100,000 per couple.

The fundraiser was delayed several hours after Trump and his running mate, Indiana Gov. Mike Pence, made a last-minute visit to tour flooded parts of *Louisiana.

Peaceful protesters gathered out front ahead of the event and marched around the large building.

"The demonstrators who harassed donors were not present earlier on, when the protest was peaceful. Many in the later group hid their faces behind scarves."

"Later in the *evening, a smaller contingent grew unruly. Some fundraiser attendees were pushed and jostled, spit on and verbally harassed as they left the *convention center."

No arrests.

That the billionaire-owned Star Tribune’s editorial board is serving as the mouthpiece for big business interests in Minneapolis should come as no surprise. The Star Tribune Media Company has a representative on the Board of the Minneapolis Downtown Council. And increasingly consistently, the Star Tribune editorial board echoes the Downtown Council’s policy position on issues impacting downtown Minneapolis nearly verbatim: they argued against the repeal of outdated spitting and lurking laws disproportionately used against people of color, saying these laws were necessary to “keep downtown livable” and argued that “Pro soccer stadium deal is a gift for Minneapolis.” More recently, they have taken a hard line against any improvement to workers’ rights in Minneapolis, where the Star Tribune employs hundreds of workers.

Trump only came to Minneapolis for money, not votes. More of that to come.

If he's fundraising across the USA, does that mean he has stopped soliciting foreigners?

Trump is (apparently) in debt to the tune of about $560 million.

650 is the number I hear. But what's a 100,000,000 dollars more or less.
http://www.nytimes.com/2016/08/21/us/politics/donald-trump-debt.html?_r=0

On the campaign trail, Donald J. Trump, the Republican presidential nominee, has sold himself as a businessman who has made billions of dollars and is beholden to no one. An investigation by The New York Times into the financial maze of Mr. Trump’s real estate holdings in the United States reveals that companies he owns have at least $650 million in debt — twice the amount than can be gleaned from public filings he has made as part of his bid for the White House.

For example, an office building on Avenue of the Americas in Manhattan, of which Mr. Trump is part owner, carries a $950 million loan. Among the lenders: the Bank of China, one of the largest banks in a country that Mr. Trump has railed against as an economic foe of the United States, and Goldman Sachs, a financial institution he has said controls Hillary Clinton, the Democratic nominee.

As president, Mr. Trump would have substantial sway over monetary and tax policy, as well as the power to make appointments that would directly affect his own financial empire. He would also wield influence over legislative issues that could have a significant impact on his net worth, and would have official dealings with countries in which he has business interests.

Herr Trump will be in Texas this week.
It will be interesting to see how many Texas GOP candidates will be appearing with him in public.
For most of the candidates, it won't matter. Texas is pretty well gerrymandered to keep it a red state, though I have talked with a number of life-long Republicans who are actively considering casting their votes for the Hildabeast or a write-in candidate.

There's even less love for the Trump than there was for Romney, at least within my limited sample group.

Aren't you Trump supporters glad you helped pay for Melania's speech writer? That was money well spent. Don't let me deter you from contributing to him though. You deserve what you get, which come November is zip, nada, zero.

I'd be happy if I didn't have to now see a Trump ad when I play a game on my tablet.

BUSTED: Trump Caught RIPPING OFF Donors In Trump Tower Fraud Scheme

Now that the Republican National Committee is footing the bill for the rent, Donald Trump has jacked up charges to his campaign’s rental of Trump Towers from $35,458 in March to $169,758 this July. Oddly, the Trump Campaign is also housing fewer people in their swank Manahttan digs too, only 172 staffers today versus 197 in March during the primary, according to a recent Huffington Post report.

The Trump campaign paid Trump Tower Commercial LLC $35,458 in March ― the same amount it had been paying since last summer ― and had 197 paid employees and consultants. In July, it paid 172 employees and consultants. eponymous golf courses and restaurants more than $260,000 since his campaign and the RNC struck a joint fundraising deal in mid-May, after he essentially locked up the GOP nomination. On May 18, the day the fundraising deal was announced, Trump International Golf Club in West Palm Beach was paid $29,715; Trump National Golf Club in Jupiter, Florida, was paid $35,845; and Trump Restaurants LLC was paid $125,080, according to FEC records. Such large payments were much rarer when Trump was self-funding.

He's shown doing it; doesn't mean he's been busted. Busted would mean legal consequences or changed behavior. He just keeps on doing it and, although light is being cast on it, he just continues doing it.

True Pilot, but the media is busting his chops pretty hard now, not that is seems to be making much difference. Though, the latest polls seem to be shifting.
RCp isn't reporting the latest polls yet
But Trumps Favorable/ unfavorable are never very good.

Trump is not a Hitler. He is a Mussolini. Not near as scary and twice as incompetent.

The "Herr" wasn't a reference to Hitler. It's the German for "Mister" and is a reference to the fact that, given his anti-immigration rhetoric, is only a 3rd generation American.

Besides, Hitler learned his fascism from Mussolini. The only thing Adolf, Donnie and Bennie have in common is they're all bombastic blowhards skilled at demagoguery and little else

In other news, in a pass through downtown ATX this afternoon I saw several score of anti-Trumpers rallying outside the venue, some two score motorcycle cops, a couple dozen foot cops, and a whole lot of people annoyed with the traffic disruptions.

I hope the city council bills the Trump campaign and the RNC for every penny of overtime it cost the local taxpayers so Mr-Art-of the-D(st)eal could sell $2000 per seat tickets (or $20k if you wanted a picture with him).

It might be worth it to be able to grab the merkin from his head, just so there'd be pictures of him bald in circulation.

The New York Times reported earlier this year that at least $1.1 million in campaign funds had found its way to family members and businesses he owns. Campaign finance experts speculated at the time about the legality of mingling campaign funds once he started beating the bushes for dollars from his supporters. If nothing else, as one Republican National Committee member told HuffPo, it might make people who contributed to the campaign question the wisdom of doing so.

“If I was a donor, I’d want answers,” the anonymous Trump-supporting RNC member told HuffPo. “If they don’t have any more staff, and they’re paying five times more? That’s the kind of stuff I’d read and try to make an [attack] ad out of it.”

Allegory of the bench: or, So what ? Sue me!

"Trump creates nice thing, reneges on promises surrounding said nice thing, makes it up with shittier thing to the dismay of people it affects. Trump feels no effect."

Trump has had a long history, of breaking agreements after he gets what he wants.

Trump Tower has a tale to tell. Trump fans visit Trump Tower, and are delighted to see a classy merchant's counter, when they enter Trump's Atrium. Trump fans can buy their favorite Trump campaign hats and Trump campaign shirts, as soon as they enter Trump World.

Only one problem with that. In order to sell those hats and shirts, Trump removed the privately owned Public Space bench. The bench was twenty feet long.

The bench was where the yooge merchant counter is now located.

The city fined Trump $10,000.00 for breaking the agreement.

Trump was permitted to make the Trump Tower taller because he signed a legal agreement.

Trump s a scoff law. He broke the agreement as soon as Trump Tower was open for business.

Trump sold the city on how wonderful the public space would be.
Trump agreed to all the requirements and signed.

Where was the twenty foot long marble bench ? (1983 is when the game began.)

That bench was meant for the public, so they could sit, and enjoy a public space.

The bench was covered with potted plants in large pots. No one could sit there.

The city gave Trump a fine to pay, and the potted plants disappeared.

The bench disappeared. This game went on for decades.

Trump put kiosks in the lobby. He sold his Chinese made goods and his wife sold her fragrances.

The lobby of Trump Tower is a privately-owned public space, meaning that it's governed by the city, and the city has to approve any changes to the space.

Trump's kiosks were never approved by the Department of City Planning. The city-run organization took taking action to remove the kiosks from the public atrium.

More fines were paid.

An elaborate 20 foot long merchant's counter was installed, along with a shelving system behind the clerk's service space.

30 Years of Scoffing at the Law, add another vindictive snipe of scoff from Trump

July 21, 2016

The 20 foot long black marble bench never made another appearance.

Four short benches installed. Hard metal benches, anchored and screwed into the floor.
