Trump Caves, Bellisarius Blows A Gasket

The profound change was in pointing out Dear Leader’s outright lie to forcing Dear Leader to sign an EO, something he said he could not do. The playbook is now different if people keep paying attention.

"Detained" is still detained. :D

He's corralling the cockroaches. The shoe yet to fall is to purge them from the public dole.

No we learned that Trump has outdone you again. The left is shitting its pants today after realizing the EO will now require those kids to be detained with their parents. Nobody get's released. The real objective was to let the families let go to run free while awaiting their hearings.

The left will now file suit saying Trump exceeded his executive authority, especially if their detention exceeds the 9th Circuit order that kids cannot be held longer than 20 days, of course that will be appealed and everyone will remain detained until The SCOTUS says different which could be much longer. Trump whups the left again, Josie!:D

I think everyone should read 8 US Code Section 1226 - Apprehension and detention of aliens, subsection (e). To wit:

The Attorney General’s discretionary judgment regarding the application of this section shall not be subject to review. No court may set aside any action or decision by the Attorney General under this section regarding the detention or release of any alien or the grant, revocation, or denial of bond or parole.

The Flores decision isn't worth the paper it's written on. Especially in light of Jennings vs. Rodriguez decided earlier this year where, in the 5-3 decision, the US Supreme Court's majority found that federal law says immigrants who face deportation "shall be detained" while their cases are being considered.

Yesterday you friggin' dummies were screaming about kids being separated from their parents, today your shitting your pants they are now being placed with their parents. This is how we know you aren't really about separation, you are about open borders, no law, and amnesty for all.

See post 150, my pants are perfectly clean.

Neither were any of the immigration decisions rendered by the 9th Circuit either but that didn't keep them from assuming they had control over the "plenary" authority of the Congress and the Executive in that matter.

Nobody is doing any of this except in the glass aquarium that is your mind, Vette.

Y'all Cheeto Cheerleaders are desperate as fuck for any fake-ass spin when your leader takes an L, even when it's self-inflicted.

Vetty is all about the fecal matter ya know.

Now that the major fighting has died down from yesterday, notable Vietnam veterans (NotIshmael and the two NotMarines NotAJ and NotVetteman) have risen from the safety of their foxholes (they collectively sat this one out) to declare "victory" for their side.

Bwa ha ha. It's Trump's Katrina.

Lol. The so-called "left" doesn't have to do anything. The Moron did this all to himself.

Melania Trump makes surprise visit to border facilities

McAllen, Texas (CNN)First lady Melania Trump touched down in McAllen, Texas, Thursday making a publicly unannounced and hastily planned trip to get a first-hand look at the crisis affecting immigrant families at the US border.

"I want to thank you for your hard work, your compassion and your kindness," the first lady said at a roundtable briefing at Upbring New Hope, with doctors and medical staff, social workers and other experts on hand.

The cover alone lets you know this will be another one of those objective, non-biased stories Time is famous … uh, nope, just another lefty hit piece.

How to spin a shitstorm:

Send in your wife.

I'm inclined to think that she's made the decision to do this (some TV commentators have been goading her to do it) on her own and has the leverage in the White House to separate (Not "separate" as appeared on the cover of the executive order) herself from Trump on this.

Actually, the picture captures the feelings of 70% of the country and the rest of the world--except Trump's fellow dictators. Left, right, D, R, upside down, all around, anyone with a shred of conscience (yourself excepted) HATED this policy. Even Trump himself said as much lol

You can try, but you can't spin this as a "left" thing.

You and Botany Boy need to start your own Bottom Feeders Club

Separating children from their parents is unpopular policy? No shit?
So how do you like the new policy? I think it's great that the kids are back with their parents (if indeed the adults they crossed the border with are their parents), and that "catch and release" no longer applies.

Of course you would think that the children are back with their parents, just like that. They aren't, dimwit, and won't be for a long time, if ever. Because the screwup who is Donald Trump (backed up by screwups like OldJourno), using people he has hired who are screwups (Kristjen Nielsen had already screwed up on Hurricane Katrina) because no one more competent than he is will work for him, took an acknowledged problem, and rather than working with others made it worse by initiating a policy of kidnapping and holding children in hostage to getting money to build a dead-on-arrival wall. And he did this without a shred of "what next?" planning. We're where we're at because Donald Trump is a screwup. And you're posting as you are because you are a screwup as well.
