After being told not once, not twice, not three times, but by everyone and their grandmother that his lie of being wiretapped by Obama was indeed a lie, Trump has not doubled, not tripled, but quadrupled down on his lie.

Instead of admitting he lied and letting it go, the con artist is vowed and determined to keep his lie in the news cycle as long as possible. Today, even before FBI director Comey explicitly and without reservation said during Congressional testimony there was no evidence Trump had been wiretapped, Trump let loose another of his ranting tweets about how former Obama officials such as James Clapper were indeed involved in wiretapping and saying other was fake:

James Clapper and others stated that there is no evidence Potus colluded with Russia. This story is FAKE NEWS and everyone knows it!

To add to the steaming pile of shit his administration has become, Herr Goebbel-Spicer emphatically denied the con artist would apologize to Obama saying there might still be evidence out there, somewhere, under a bed, under a pillow, tucked in a closet or in someone's pants pocket, to show their lie is true.

As a side note, and as is always the case, Republicans are more worried about who leaked the fact Flynn lied about not having communications with the Russians rather than the act itself. Apparently, in their eyes, reporting a crime is worse than the crime itself.

I think Spicer is working on an exit strategy that he so baldly fed the Trump line to feed the system with ammunition against Trump and that he, Spicer, thereby should receive the Medal of Honor.

My grandma didn't say a word. Maybe if all grandma's united then he could let go of the lie. After all there are plenty more lies in the sea.

Maybe we could get the world's biggest quilt too!
