No, it didn't. Muslims did not attack Europe after the Battle of Tours, 732. The Crusades began in 1095 in response to difficulties of Christian pilgrims in the Holy Land. What we now think of as jihadis grow out of the 19th-Century Salafi movement.

After that point the Muslims were gradually -- in a process that took centuries -- driven out of Spain. They made no advances after Tours, and their "attacks" on Europe did not in any way provoke the Crusades.
