Not just flawed, but pure evil. Who has them in their stories? If so, who are they? Adrienne in "Never Beat A Soldier" comes to mind in my case. Erich and Justin in "Matchmaking Trap- Chapter 4" as well. Also Sarah in "Dennis, April, & Lorraine".

I feature a character who is the essence of evil in a story that hasn't been released yet, my masterpiece.

Oh, now, I do evil.

Andariel in the Darkflame stories.
Sapphyre- although she's more crazy than evil.
Ailill/Aisling in the Wicked Ways monstrosity.

And a character than doesn't get seen often, if ever, in my stories. Salicia.

Captain 30 - Pirates of the Key. However, the Pirates of the Keys chapters have been withdrawn so that I can write the story into a novella for paid publication.

I'm thinking aboutone in my Tentacle saga. Not sure if it will be pure evil or just mostly evil yet though. I'll have to see how it plays out.

Zoraster ( Danica, & Ebon Genesis, which explains his origins ) is about as close to pure evil as there is. He still believes, somewhere in the back of his twisted mind, that he's simply using the tools of the manipulating gods and evil people against them by necessity. Once he's gained control of the world and pushed the gods aside, he believes he'll create a perfect world. He's come to revel in pain, despair, and anguish along the way, however. He still has moments of lucidity, but they become more and more rare as time passes.

He's gone beyond the point where his actions are a flaw in his character, and reached a place where the occasional lucid moment is a flaw in his darkness. He sits, sipping wine and nibbling on cheese, watching his henchmen violently rape and murder someone like it's Masterpiece Theatre. He smiles in contentment as he listens to someone mentally scream in despair, while he forces their body and conscious mind to take ecstatic pleasure from something that repulses them.

Any good villan either believes that they are the hero, or they're completely insane. Zoraster is the best of both worlds in that respect.

Thanks for sharing that, folks. I forgot another evil character: Eve from "Adam and Steve, Not Eve", a story that will take forever to continue, it feels. Still lacking inspiration for the sequel. Oh, and the Akrosian Empress in "Ambassador's Life" is probably pure evil, since she is invading and possibly planning to exterminate the Dekerins.

In my Lit stories:

Apocalypse in "X-Men: Additional Aftermath."

The crime's perpetrator in "Conviction: In Media Res."

I've dealt with a lot of evil jerks in the past too.

None in my Lit stories.

And I think that the evil ones that I have written in stageplays are actually more mentally ill than anything else.

Anyway, this calls for a definition of "evil".

I'm writing one right now that is the most dislikeable character to feature in a Lit story by me. But even this guy thinks he's the good guy, that he's righteous in his actions and that his victims deserves what they get. Evil, or just misinforned?

I mostly write about happy :) sex so the only evil person I have ever included was the rapist  in "The Last Piece of Ass" and he got what he deserved in the end. Monica, the teenager :( who is blackmailing her teacher is a pretty nasty piece of work and so is the husband of Ruthie, in "Ruthie Calls on Me". He's just in the background in the story but I have a novel in progress, based on that story, where he is appears. Tomiss, in "Zuzie Beams Me Up Again" was unpleasant, but no worse than that. :D

Someone who goes out of their way to knowingly harm people, not for personal gain, but simply to do harm to the person/people.

Tral'zla'thor, a demon of chaos from my story "The Demon"...Aside from that not usually truly evil as people don't tend to be truly one or the other...Especially not in their own minds...

Evil is a matter of degree - WTF is real evil SEV? (without me having to read cliche'd LIT stories) What IS PURE EVIL?

Isn't harming people for personal gain kinda not-good too?

I started out writing Halloween story #2. My intent was to have a hugh contrast between a truely vile and evil character. Unfortunately after I read what I'd written, I discovered I don't have it in me to write such a character. I don't think that's all bad.

I'm talking about sociopathic evil. The kind of evil embodied by Hitler or someone like that. Ted Bundy. John Wayne Gacy. Gary Ridgway. Jeffrey Dahmer.

BINGO!
too subjective. i started a series "The Clensing of Mankind"
some people would say the lead is pure evil...others would say she's doing what must be done.
