Guy goes to one of those traveling carnivals and sees a stand with a sign that says, "True Love: $5" Upon purchasing, the seller writes briefly on a sheet of paper, folds it, places it in an envelope, licks (or uses a mini-sponge) it shut, and hands it to the buyer. When the guy later opens it, it states: Your true love is located at (address of an alley) at 1:00AM this Wednesday. Though quite suspicious and wandering if it is a joke or a scam, he does decide to go there. Upon arriving, he discovers a woman attacked by a rapist or mugger. He saves her, perhaps getting injured in the process.

Actually the idea of a a salesman selling true love for low or high prices in any locale is an intriguing idea. This would make a nice series, imo.
