Confession

Okay....I hate that I let this one get to me


I am a huge baseball fan...Royals. Went to every World Series game in 1985....all 7.

I have 19 individually autographed baseballs from that team.

The Holy Grail on my want list....A team autographed ball.


I found one.

It is now more than I intended to spend.

I had told the ex about it.

She emails me with this quote: "That ball you were talking about is over 300 now, tell me you're not going to be stupid and waste your money like that."

I expected better from her, since we share a close relationship with Froggy and are (I thought) good friends.

It irritates me that her comment hurt.

1. I am very allergic to bees, wasps, hornets, yellow jackets, and the rest of their deplorable ilk.

1.5 I like the word ilk.

2. Expensive wasp and hornet killer spray does not, in fact, kill bees. (Go figure)

3. Bees get very pissed off when you spray them with a nonfatal insecticide.

4. ALWAYS have a back-up plan close at hand.

5. Cheap "Stinging Flying Insect Killer" is a good back-up plan.

6. An entire can of "Stinging Fyling Insect Killer" will, in fact, kill a pissed off bee.

7. I need a fresh can of "Stinging Fyling Insect Killer."

8. I have a like-new, hardly used can of expensive wasp and hornet killer spray for sale.

8.5 I'm selling it cheap.

For me, two epi-pens and rapid transport to the nearest medical faciility with advanced life support capabilities.
