He's still at it. In fact, thanks to some *ahem* well meaning relatives he has also added recorder, keyboard and drum to his repetiore. He's a renaissance toddler. ;)
Well meaning relatives are cool. They get to spoil you and not have to deal with repercussions. ;)
My grandmother gave me the money to buy my first used guitar. I was so pissed when I got it home. The guy at the music store failed to tell me that a lefty can't play a right handed instrument any way but upside down, unless you restring it. ;)

Yeah, coooooooool. No really, you know that we think it's important for him to explore music and whatever else as much as he wants (ok, within reason).

I bet you learned how to restring that guitar pretty quickly.

Good morning my friends. I just woke up as my body has really adjusted to the work schedule. But Im going to force myself back to bed in a bit for a little more sleep. Hope you had a wonderful Saturday!

Brian -- you are so right! I am blessed, and Nigel always says that the simplest things in life amuse me and make me happy. And they do. :)

Oman -- I agree...I think everybody would like to kill their bills.

Red...Im happy to hear that he is doing better. :rose:

The movie rocked! Not as action-oriented as the first, but still very good. I loved it! :D

LOL
Not THAT quickly, but I figured it out. Thank goodness the lady across the street had a piano, or I never would have learned how to tune the darn thing. It was one of those 'guaranteed not to break' guitars. But, eventually I figured it all out. ;)

Hope the young fella is doing better today. :rose:

He is doing fine, aside from a runny nose, and is happily playing with his Thomas the Train set. :)

My son used to love Thomas, since he was 4 and his aunty gave him a book and tape for his birthday. His Gran even knitted him a jumper with Thomas and the Fat Controller on it. We had books and he loved the TV show (with the voice of Ringo Starr lol). We passed it all on to my little nephew (6) who also loves Thomas and trains.

My son turns 21 next month....

Hi Kayte:)

We are all doing much better, thank you. It was a scarey night and I'm very glad it's over now. I really hope to never go through anything like that again.

TD likes anything transportation related, but yeah, Thomas is a very big deal in our home.:)

I had no idea Ringo Starr did the voices. We get either Alec Baldwin or George Carlin (go figure?).

Yeah, we have the books and videos, a train table and trains, etc., etc. It's nice that you kept the stuff to hand down. It gets soo expensive.

I remember Ringo doing the TV show. He eventually had to bow out because of errrr ummm substance abuse issues.

kind of hanging on
by my fingernails
very poor
in cash, in heart, and in love
still lonely
alone

but I am still alive
and that is a good thing
Sweetheart,
miss you bunches

*kissing your hands*

I've heard newborn babies wailin' like a mournin' dove
And old men with broken teeth stranded without love.
Do I understand your question, man, is it hopeless and forlorn?
"Come in," she said,
"I'll give you shelter from the storm."

:rose:

the sweet moss velvet bower waits
come rest
draw close and breathe the fragrance of moon lit roses, jasmine, magnolia
and let me draw some strength
while the storm rages

Peeking in...
